In my opinion, Bitcoin whales will destroy Bitcoin, they are using it for only short term gains and have the power to kill it if they want. They can move money out driving the price down then buy back in, rinse and repeat. unfortunately, Bitcoin is a decentralized currency that has fallen into the hands of the whales and the miners. It isn't what it was meant to be and I don't think it can be saved and become what it was supposed to. Not while it's under control by the rich and powerful few. All these new people getting into crypto and buying $100 of Bitcoin and ending up with $5 after they transfer to a wallet are going to wall away from BTC.

As a rule, people who make such statements can not give any plausible reasons to justify their loud statements.
It is normal in my opinion if there are people who say that because many people have said that. ranging from ordinary people to big figures they also many who criticize the existence of bitcoin to think that bitcoin will have no value. really average they just want to be exposed to the media for these commentsWe have different perspective so we cannot say that everyone must agree on bitcoin. The thing is that people lose their money in Bitcoin or any other cryptocurrencies is because they don’t familiarize themselves first before diving in. They don’t know that during an uptrend, you should not buy Bitcoin especially way back 2017 where Bitcoin is on succeeding ATHS until it reached $20000 and some people bought it at this high price hence when the price came crashing down, a lot of people had cried along with those who are labeling it as scam and any other horror stories that they could tell to other people due to their failed decisions.
Why they lose their money? Because they are over-hyped, they believed that Bitcoin can make them an instant millionaire, they think that every year is bull run and that the value of Bitcoin will not declined anymore. Many documentary wanna make bitcoin bad reputation for new investor and make them afraid for investing with bitcoin, but for old investor how ever bad news keep invest with bitcoin because there no word for bitcoin is over, so far o exchange market still many transaction selling and buying bitcoin not reason said bitcoin is over because bitcoin still have higher value. The market cap and volume of Bitcoin still remains the largest which makes Bitcoin dominance the largest on the market. These alone are clear indications that Bitcoin still has supportive community and large market demand.
