Is Bitcoin ready to pump?

Possible. Golman Sachs already announced that the news about them were fake, so there should be no reason for the last dump, meaning that at least a recover to 7000+ would be normal.
But I thing that the traders wait for the answer about the next ETF and see then how the market reacts.

If the ETF will be approve in this month we can assure a huge pump up again so maybe some trader are wait for the news regarding this ETF, but personally if bitcoin stay in 6500 Im pretty confident it can be back to $7k and trying to break again the $7500. Its better to observe carefully the chart of bitcoin because theres a tendency it can go down to 5900$ to $5800.

Bitcoin could actually head on its way to recovery this month only if all the fake news and market manipulation will just end and allow to real organic growth, driven by gradual and consistent adoption. There are enough project s and activities in the space to make it known to all.

Is Bitcoin ready to pump?

Nope.

What would be the good news that would make the price pump? I see nothing. The ETF is still a risky bet given the history of SEC rejections

do you think Bitcoin is about to go up or should we expect a big drop?

honestly? is more chance to drop

I believe the price will have a big pump starting from October.

Every month people say that.

We always expect the market next month. From January this year I also hope the market better next month but it has been too many months and the market is still nothing new. There is no surprise when the market is very different in some days now.

So my question is: do you think Bitcoin is about to go up or should we expect a big drop?

Bitcoin always have a chance to go up anytime at any given situation. Same goes for a drop. There is a "thing" that can triggered price pump or dump and that "thing" is unknown because it was unexpected. Referring to the past drop, we all see how bitcoin price resisted the $5500 level even how dumped the crypto market back then. Meaning to expect more price below $5,000+ it needs a situation that has way more bigger impact compare to the numerous events that makes the crypto market red. In here we can now make an analyzation for our future strategy.

So what will be the answer? No one knows what will happened. Focus instead on your plan for example, what if the price goes up/ what if the price goes down. Anticipate it because thinking if the price will go up this month will just gave people a headache.

Is Bitcoin ready to pump?
After a long wait, everyone wonders when Bitcoin will make a big pump. Many altcoins depend on Bitcoin and so it has some effect on them. So my question is: do you think Bitcoin is about to go up or should we expect a big drop?
The market is currently less activities and volume is really decreasing. We expect that from next month bitcoin is going to resume it last year bullish  momentum. I also doubt if we would see a future serious drop in price that will significantly affects the market.  We are at the ranging market for some days now.

Many are waiting for this pump for several months, but there are constantly news about the prohibition of bitcoin in China, the refusal of the Goldman Sachs to use cryptocurrency and so on, while for that reason there are large sales of cryptocurrency from the same wallets. This is manipulation of large whales, who will sooner or later change their tactics and will organize pump, but when?

You know what? Don't expect anything. Who knows whether it'll pump or dump? We've already been receiving beatings from this bear market and having our expectations crushed again and again would only result in more frustration and regret.

Bitcoin market is fluctuate, so we can't be sure how the price of Bitcoin will go. September started with a price bench, and price reach $7400.
This was good sign and  we hoping that this is the bull and Bitcoin price now up to high, but this did not happen, so now we only could wait another wave and be patiently.

I was thinking that time is come for some price movement to the north, but last dump is show as one more time how easy is to manipulate with BTC and the whole crypto market. We are in the situation where few whales or maybe just one big can move price up or down by 1000$ in less than a day, and who know how long it can last.

It is almost impossible to know what will happen to the end of this year, we may see big pump like last year - but also price can stay in range between 6000-7500$. In my opinion and some other members, if we do not see some action in next 2-3 months then we may expect bear market during most of the next year.

Of course everything can be changed for the better if by some miracle ETF is accepted or if Bakkt become highlighted by the media as next big thing.

Bitcoin  price is  not good if the price continue to drop. I expected the price become very high again to this month september. But if this month bitcoin not increase they have still three months to pump bitcoin and we can work to together with that. We can stop dumping the value of the bitcoin.

I believe the price will have a big pump starting from October. For now, people should not panic and have high hopes because we should expect the unexpected. We all know that bitcoin is unpredictable. So, all we have to do it to be patient and support it. Another note, this forum has many members and investors. Posting a thread that makes them fear the outcome of bitcoin, will make them freak out and sell their bitcoins. So, we should always stay positive.

Neither a big pump or a large fall should be expected in my opinion. We are still bouncing around within resistance levels and are unlikely to see any major changes to that pattern. Bitcoin isn't going to go on a large pump for a long time, it doesn't just swap so rapidly from bear to bull.

no, simply it is because bitcoin is not some altcoins that can be pumped just because you want it to rise. bitcoin will only have rises or nothing at all. it is the altcoins that get pumped and then inevitably they get a dump where they come back down to the price where they begin the pump with and in some cases even lower prices than that and some of them even die.

Oopss,it dumping again maybe whales are in action now so time for investing into the bitcoin and I don't see any bump coming since there are lot of negative news about the crypto currencies all over the media so there maybe the price will dump to $6000 again or fall more at the end of Spetember if the ETF gets rejected.

With the projected approval of the CBOE ETF application by SEC, it is very likely that BTC and the cryptocurrency market as a whole is ready for a massive bull run. However, it is all speculation but I do have a good feeling about september.

The ETF wont likely be approved till Feb 2019 as that is the last point to refuse it.  An optimistic stance is to believe they will pass it at that point but to assume they do so now seems most unlikely following other similar refusals.  Its possible as related to CBOE but still quite unlikely imo

Yes, its possible that we can see another postponement. Others say that SEC is playing with our emotions.  Smiley

Again, crypto is a speculative asset so we can't predict when or how the price will go. We started this month with a blast, peaking at around $7300 and everyone gets excited and thinking that this is the bull run we all have been waiting for. Unfortunately, though it didn't last so no one can be certain. I believed that if the next bull run will occur, it will happen when there's a positive news, a big one that will put investors interest back on the market. Sadly, I'm not seeing anything except maybe LN or bitcoin's next halving.
