Hello pals,
Recently I introduced Bitcoin and cryptocurrency to my friends and family, they liked the concept but they asked me a question that I wasn't able to answer. Is Bitcoin really secure? What if a hacker was able to hack Bitcoin system/blockchain?Who manages Bitcoin security and what are the security measures taken to avoid hackers being able to steal Bitcoins? Why Bitcoin is not blocked for those who use it illegally by buying/selling in the deepweb market? What if governements ban Bitcoin because of these people?
I really appreciate if you  guys give me some answers

Answer is a relative: on the part of self, a real care is needed in keeping one's bitcoin wallet details safe; properly documented. Another means is by using a very safe and recommended bitcoin wallet also and ensuring one use their 2nd factor authentication. Now the other aspect of security has to do with the blockchain system; accountability with respect to the system itself having a means of securing against theft in the system. It's technology and can be worked on - I mean a real anti-theft mechanism within the blockchain system. This I believe will help answer those who are really really pessimistic.

Starting with your first question yes Bitcoin is fully secured because it never gives anyone access to your wallet only the human who had a special private key code can have access to that wallet and that code can not be hacked. There is no one who can create fake money because all the wallets are scanning each other. Government has no control over Bitcoin so they can not ban it.
Whether it's all about the security or about the long survival or something about its potential to grow high. In a combined manner bitcoin is highly secure and to be a part of it people need to have the trust though it is completely an virtual asset without physical appearance similar to the conventional or the paper money that we use around.

the system of bitcoin in my opinion is very safe, especially blockchain.
well, which is prone to the storage process. as we know, the bitcoin and altcoin we have are stored in the wallet. To be able to spend Bitcoin, the owner needs a special line of code called "private key". This line of code is stored in a "wallet" or digital wallet. When it will be used, then the owner accesses the code and uses it for the transaction.
Private key can be stored on computer or printed with printer. Problems arise because this line of code can be stolen or lost. When that happens, all Bitcoin and altcoin associated with the private key will disappear forever.

Blockchain's military security is similar to security, so the hacking process is almost impossible, but it is unlikely if the Wallet site provider or your account is hacked. It may sometimes be the weakness of your account that results in your actions. So be careful not to be involved in suspicious sites. But it can be said that BTC is safe for now.

Security of your bitcoins would really depend on how you do keep your keys and the security of your wallet. No hacker can able to bruteforce if they wont know the information related into your wallet which I can really say that bitcoin is secure if you are really responsible to make it safe. Bitcoin cant be controlled since a decentralized stuff and banning it would be pointless since people can make transactions anonymously.

Well Hacking the Bitcoin is really hard I have never heard that someone hacked into someone Bitcoin's address.
Yes, It is totally secure if you are talking about your bitcoin address, but if you are saying that your wallet is secured then it is not you have to be clever so no one can hack into your account.
You must save your Bitcoins in offline wallet desktop wallet and use strong password. Also for more and more security save your Bitcoins in portable drive.
If you are using online wallet you should enable all the security option such as 2fa etc.

Hackers can't have access to your funds unless it's your mistake. About uses of bitcoin, bad people will use anything secure and untraceable and they will exist if there is a bitcoin or not.

Users wallets are not that exposed to hackers attacks the biger problem is if you reveal or disclose some of your access data to someone. The exchangers are quite different story and they are much more vulnerable. But with time they are getting more and more aware of possibility of security breaches so they also invest in protection and educate their users.

Yes, bitcoin is safe, which is why it has such success. If you use a reliable purse and responsibly treat it, nothing will happen to your money. Now there are wallets with double passwords, codewords, two-factor authentication system, which makes bitcoin safe.
There is an opinion that bitcoin, like everything on the Internet, can be hacked, but I do not believe in it. A team of very talented and competent professionals works on bitcoin, and security is one of the main components of bitcoin, without which its existence is impossible.

Yes, do all transaction with carefully and save your bitcoins in a hard wallet then no problem in it. I do it and i have spend a long time with bitcoin then i don't see anything wrong and insecure. Also it is depend on us, if we do our responsibly with carely then its okay. Also see a huge people are doing investment and trading with all crypto currencies because these are secure.

I think not that secure because a lot of experiences regarding hacking are continuously spreading around bitcoin ecosysyte! In which frightening the worker to work cause some instance that they may loose all of they profit in a blink of an eye which is too painful to be experience you are working for nothing.
I can guarantee that the security of saving money in bitcoin is pretty good. it's proven I've never experienced bitcoin theft as long as I use bitcoin from 2014. I'm using an online wallet and I'm adding authentication to get into my account and I can guarantee it's very safe. actually the problem lies in legalization because it is very likely the government is banning on bitcoin and may make a bad influence on bitcoins, scammers in bitcoin, and fluctuations of course

Nope. Currently, we do not have any country has policies or ban for Bitcoin, unless some countries had banned Bitcoin from the begining. Even the Chinese government has some decision for the cryptocurrency market, but they did not have any decision for Bitcoin till today.

This depends what you mean by safe.

If you're worried about someone hacking your wallet, the underlying cryptography for Bitcoin has been studied in detail, and is believed by experts to be secure. Assuming that you choose a strong password for your wallet, your Bitcoins should be safe from theft.

I also am fairly confident that some type of cryptocurrency will become widely used in the future, since it offers unique and useful features. But there is the possibility that some other currency will be developed that is superior.

Also, in the short term, Bitcoin is very volatile. So if you're looking for a safe investment, you're probably better off sticking to more conventional options.

I also believe that Bitcoin is very secure no one can get money from you, even hackers will not be able to hack any wallet that you will use in Bitcoin just make sure that you are the only one who is accessing your computer. I have 2BTC sitting on my wallet for years now that is why i can say that it is secure.

Ofcourse Bitcoin is secure. But the way you are going to store Bitcoin might not be. You must use a reputable ledgers or wallet to store it. Before you access your ledger it would need a private key to be accessed. You need to secure all your passwords and private keys in order to secure your bitcoin as well. Sometime it's the carelessness of the user that makes the storage of bitcoin unsecure.
