Is Bitcoin really safe? safe or not depends on us, because everything that happens with bitcoin is very dependent on our own to be able to keep our bitcoin confidential. private key must be kept secret, we do not get to the hands of people who are not responsible. because it can cause to lose our bitcoin.

Bitcoin is still relatively safe currency, because no one can know the identity of the owner of Bitcoin. But as you know, some well-known exchanges are already asking for verification. It's good or it's still hard to say

Yes bitcoin is really secure. no one can steal bitcoin, except for our own carelessness. Smiley
The government can not be that easy to ban bitcoin transactions, because bitcoin is the future.

I agree with your opinion, bitcoin is safe and not stolen in addition to our own negligence, but bitcoin is also safer because it can not be faked like banknotes,

Hello pals,
Recently I introduced Bitcoin and cryptocurrency to my friends and family, they liked the concept but they asked me a question that I wasn't able to answer. Is Bitcoin really secure? What if a hacker was able to hack Bitcoin system/blockchain?Who manages Bitcoin security and what are the security measures taken to avoid hackers being able to steal Bitcoins? Why Bitcoin is not blocked for those who use it illegally by buying/selling in the deepweb market? What if governements ban Bitcoin because of these people?
I really appreciate if you  guys give me some answers

Sure, Bitcoin is safe. No one can hack, if we keep it safe. You keep in your own account but do not neglect. Because your untoward will take advantage of. Your wallet account is safe all the time.

I think bitcoin is really safe. No one can control BTC even though the government can not control it. No one can steal either us or anyone else. Incase our careless bitcoin can be stolen and it is a tremendous problem.

Bitcoin is secure because there are a lot of users that is still using their platform and if Bitcoin is not secure, it would have not reached the price that it has now. The fluctuation of the price only tells that it is something secure and something that we can invest our money into.

In my opinion about bitcoin security is very safe in making transactions because it uses a blockchain system where every transaction that goes through some confirmation, besides bitcoin also tidal can be faked like a regular currency
for investment it is safe but to keep still was was. because theft and hacking cases until now still often happen. big exchangers with good protection could be hit by a hack

There are a row of different risks related to earning, holding and operating Bitcoin. We know this things about blockchain of Bitcoin: the transaction points are saved but we heard a lot about hack attacks and stolen coins.

9 years back Bitcoin was launched, it is very much visible that Bitcoin is secure in investor’s hands. Miners are doing their part of the job well, but not letting any transaction getting suspicious.

i don't think that miners will be responsible is there are transactions that are not meant to be since they are just confirming the transactions. Also if you do not know, in the first years of bitcoin a back door was found. It was fixed quickly and after that it becomes very secure. The only thing that people are seeing as a problem to bitcoin is it's volatility since there are a lot of people that are being disappointed when bitcoin dumps.

The question of whether Bitcoin is safe is a relative question and depends a lot on what you mean by safe.

TL;DR… it’s very safe, if you follow some basic security practices. Keep your keys secret, back them up (preferably in offline storage / paper wallet / hardware wallet), don’t keep all your money in a single wallet, keep all transactions within the blockchain, use multiple signatures in organizations in order to ensure a single person cannot compromise the funds, and have a plan to ensure that relatives can retrieve the money in the event of your death.  Blockchain technologies may well replace many centralized models that are currently used, while volatility in the BTC price provides challenges and opportunities. Bitcoin technology is not anonymous to organizations with enough resources to determine how funds initially entered or exited the Bitcoin network.
