Hello pals,
Recently I introduced Bitcoin and cryptocurrency to my friends and family, they liked the concept but they asked me a question that I wasn't able to answer. Is Bitcoin really secure? What if a hacker was able to hack Bitcoin system/blockchain?Who manages Bitcoin security and what are the security measures taken to avoid hackers being able to steal Bitcoins? Why Bitcoin is not blocked for those who use it illegally by buying/selling in the deepweb market? What if governements ban Bitcoin because of these people?
I really appreciate if you  guys give me some answers

If you are going to ask anyone like your family to join this industry, I suggest that you should not ask them to invest money and hold their coin and they should work on bounty campaigns to earn altcoins to start without any investment. In this way they can have profit without any risk.

Bitcoin is really secure, you can assure that it is really safe.
There are many securities made just to make sure bitcoin is really safe, carelessness is the key to make that securities broke.
There are many people out there that are willing to do anything just to steal your money so always becareful.
Even though there many securities made, still the safety of our bitcoin is still in our hand.

You must have a wallet, the wallet itself is generated by code, and you must enter a password, pin, or passphrase for you only. to access your wallet. The wallet itself is encrypted giving you security, then you have a bitcoin to keep in your wallet, you also need a password or access to send your bitcoin, Smiley Wink Smiley Smiley Wink

Bitcoin is secure as long as you take proper security  and its depeds on how you keep your bitcoin, dont trust anyone to your bitcoin because maybe your bitcoin become hack, and it is impossible to hack because it has a special wallet to keep secure, So to be secured, put your funds in a wallet that you own the private key.

I think it is secure in the sense that it has lots of safeguards despite it being a currency that is mainly transacted and works online. I mean, most money-related things that are operated online are always open to hacking or theft that could be taken advantaged of by people with extensive knowledge of programming and connectivity. However, with bitcoins, it is relatively safer because you could maintain the privacy of your dealings despite the fact that it is done online. Also, the good thing about it is that the way to keep your holdings are offline because it's only date stored in an e-wallet via a combination of codes. This helps in keeping it more secure and safe.

This is being ask in this forum in different words over and over again. Answer is simple. It's a volatile currency concept which can be impact as any other investment. So, I believe, when you start investment, it's better to start with bearable risk. if you think of putting all your life savings on this, I don't think you should be even consider about investing in BTC or any other crypto currency.

It can also lead to the risk that even sitting at home can cause accidents, if you want to be safe, do not invest bitcoin, send the bank and let the money inflated, you want to succeed. Think of bitcoin

Yes bitcoin is really secure. no one can steal bitcoin, except for our own carelessness. Smiley
The government can not be that easy to ban bitcoin transactions, because bitcoin is the future.

Bitcoin is secure depending on the holder whether it is online or offline, The wallet that is holding your coins can tell if you can really trust the type of wallet or not so you should always ask for the other experts before choosing the best place to hold your altcoins or bitcoins.

Yes I think bitcoin is secure because the people are coming to this side and they didn't complaint about this people are happy and they are using different wallet for accessing bitcoin and they are earning good amount of profit over their amount. Bitcoin is safe and secure for now and for the future there are so many opportunities for bitcoin to use this currency worldwide and most of the businesses will use it.

I think all in all, bitcoin is more secure than most existing financial services, including legacy banking platforms like SWIFT, which has been compromised repeatedly by hackers.

The biggest vulnerability in Bitcoin is the mistakes of the users. We can accidentally delete or lost our bitcoin files that store the necessary private key and that's scary as hell!

On one hand, bitcoin itself is very difficult to hack, and that is largely due to the blockchain technology which supports it. As blockchain is constantly being reviewed by bitcoin users, hacks are unlikely. On the other hand, though, the fact that bitcoin itself is difficult to hack does not mean that it's necessarily a safe investment. There does exist potential for security risks at various stages of the trading process.
