Bitcoin is secure so far. Many hackers trying to penetrate the block chain system but they didn't get success as of today. Bitcoin is very secure until and unless you share your seeds or private keys with anyone. Always use the best antivirus and apart from this always use incognito or private window to login your block chain. That way you can secure your block chain.
Until now I do not feel the worries more because so far I feel safe against bitcoin that I have. This decentralized system is indeed beneficial for bitcoin users because although many countries ban it and keep bitcoin running as it should. Exactly, Bitcoin is safe, as long as you take the necessary precautions. Back in time I forgot to put a password on my wallet, and well, 0,08BTC were stolen. Hopefully it was only worth 16$ in that time - saying this always make me feel like an early adopter - but nowadays it is worth a lot more sadly. 800$ I could have still today if I was a bit more cautious.
