Yes, bitcoin is really secure. As long as you don't share your password to other people. For security, always changed your password every month to protect from hackers. If you're careless, your bitcoin will not be secure.

Hacker can't hack your Bitcoin as long as you store your Bitcoin in the safest wallet and also do not give any information about your wallet or private key to any suspicious sites. If people like that the government will ban the use of Bitcoin but it depends on the countries because of things like this very often happens.
The only key to not get hack is to be very careful in taking care of your information and especially the private key and if you have that private key and stored it somewhere else that is safe then there is nothing to worry about because it is safe and you will not get hack unless you give them your private key because private key is like the heart of your wallet once it is stolen then your coins is over.

Yes bitcoin is really secure. no one can steal bitcoin, except for our own carelessness. Smiley
The government can not be that easy to ban bitcoin transactions, because bitcoin is the future.

Well, you can simply say that bitcoin is secure because no one and it can be steal if you are careless. You can really make your bitcoin secure by just putting it on online wallet or offline wallet.  I agree that the government will not be easy ban bitcoin transaction because it is decentralized.

Yes, bitcoin is 100% secure. Everybody is transacting here freely and still, there is no news about the security issue of bitcoin. So, I think it is 100% secure.
Yes bitcoin is secure and safe but what's not safe is where we store our coins.
This a "store at your own risk" like if you choose to store it in an online wallet you should be aware that everything can happen here and don't put the blame to anyone.
Having an hardware wallet let's you have a good sleep at night but always remember that you should take all the precautions in storing your coins. Hackers are just around in the corner and ready to take the opportunity when they feel that you're weak.

Hello pals,
Recently I introduced Bitcoin and cryptocurrency to my friends and family, they liked the concept but they asked me a question that I wasn't able to answer. Is Bitcoin really secure? What if a hacker was able to hack Bitcoin system/blockchain?Who manages Bitcoin security and what are the security measures taken to avoid hackers being able to steal Bitcoins? Why Bitcoin is not blocked for those who use it illegally by buying/selling in the deepweb market? What if governements ban Bitcoin because of these people?
I really appreciate if you  guys give me some answers
Well good for you, your friends and family because Bitcoin is the best investment and payment system. Yes Bitcoin system itself is secure and I haven't heard on someone who successfully broke into it's system so far. Only hard forks are happening but is not a threat. Hackers can only be able to have an access to wallets or exchanges due to owners carelesness. I am not an expert on whoever manages Bitcoins security but as far as I know it uses cryptography. Never show or share your private keys, always check url before accessing a web wallet, never click a suspicious and malicious links these are some of those security measures we have to be aware of especially these days. Just bare this in mind that Bitcoin is a decentralized asset which means only exchanges can be blocked, banned and controlled by the governments.

Same as the online banking, people need to take care of their account credentials especially bitcoin. Either you secure your bitcoin by yourself or with a third party, it is highly recommendable to keep your security credentials offline.

In my opinion, there is nothing safe or secure, bitcoin is very safe in the present time
Bitcoins are not as secure as bitcoins like stocks, so if they are increased then it will decrease Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

I had the same question in mind when I first started, and I also often asked who is the one to make sure that things that are going on with Bitcoin are safe and secure. Since Bitcoin assures financial freedom, I guess the answer to the question who can protect you in this platform is you, yourself. Bitcoin is secure because of you. You have to take the right measures like having a password that is hard to crack and not saving them on any devices to assure your security. It is you who can guard your Bitcoin the best against all those strategic and smart hackers.

I can say 100% that bitcoin is not secured because like in eth wallet adresses somebody can see your wallet but not your private key so be careful always and try to use wallet that trusted and gard to hack for your security.
Save your private key in the safest place and guarantee only you or the people you can trusted have permission to know this key.
Remember, save your private key in PC is risky, because you always surfing website, download, watching ... many things through online.
It is the advantage for hacker attack your computer.
Yes that was right save your private keys on the very safe we all know that hackers can do anything just to hack And have a lot of bitcoin in a easy way so better to have some carefulness for everything that we do.

At this time I have confidence in the blockchain my concern is with wallets and exchanges. It can be said currently the blockchain can't be hacked, it would have been if it were possible, but who is to say an algorithm won't come along that will hack it.

Let friends and families understand that Bitcoin is highly save. The only thing left is to ensure optimum security of your wallet details. As thieves and robbers would troop in when our doors are left open, so as hackers will hack into your accounts when your wallet security is not well managed. That will make it impossible for any government to ban Bitcoin
This is right this is why we should really be careful on our passwords and keys if we do really like for our bitcoin to be secured against those hackers which do have plan on stealing all of our bitcoin possessions. Bitcoin is secure if you do know how to keep it and take care of your wallet. No one can able to get those bitcoins from you as long its secure.Even government cant bruteforce a certain wallet even on bitcoin itself and this is the beauty of bitcoin which have been loved by big community and thats why it becomes famous.

Cryptocurencies are digital in nature, one cannot see or feel them like gold or fiat currency. They are saved/stored on computers or in mobile wallets. Bitcoins ever rising price is attracting good as well as bad peoples towards it. Hackers are working round the clock to steal such valuable currency. Bitcoin has its own security system blockchain, protected by its users as well as by bitcoin miners. But still its our duty to take care of our mobile wallet, by keeping safe its private key. We must keep our mobile wallet as well as our computer by installing updated firewall and antivirus.
