For me it is secure but you must ensure where you put your bitcoins and make sure that your private key of your choosen wallet is remain private because most of the cases that bitcoins are hacked because of our own carelessNess I have friends that their bitcoin is hacked because they display their private key in public. But when you say bitcoin itself we can really sure that it is secure, bitcoin is known almost all over the world and many of investors use bitcoin in their transactions.

Hello pals,
Recently I introduced Bitcoin and cryptocurrency to my friends and family, they liked the concept but they asked me a question that I wasn't able to answer. Is Bitcoin really secure? What if a hacker was able to hack Bitcoin system/blockchain?Who manages Bitcoin security and what are the security measures taken to avoid hackers being able to steal Bitcoins? Why Bitcoin is not blocked for those who use it illegally by buying/selling in the deepweb market? What if governements ban Bitcoin because of these people?
I really appreciate if you  guys give me some answers
I think, yes bitcoin is secured but it depends on you on how you secure your own account. So you have also to protect or secure your  account to other people or hackers and be careful about what you are doing in your bitcoin account.

Bitcoin is the most secure form of money, hackers can not infiltrate the blockchain or individual adressses of users. Bitcoins transactions are anonymous and untraceable. The only way you can lose Bitcoins is by getting scamed. As for the illegal use, no one can block users from using Bitcoin, and also cash is also used for illegal activities but I do not see it becoming banned. The illegal use does not really hurt an individuals security.

Many people think that Bitcoin is a very safe and untraceable currency or transaction tool. I myself think so too. But some people disagree with that.

Some say that transactions in Bitcoin are not difficult to trace and the identity of the Bitcoin holders can be found by the authorities. If the Bitcoin is indeed safe and untraceable, then why the owner of the Silk Road website used to be tracked and imprisoned. As far as I know, all transactions on Silk Road use Bitcoin. Now the owner of Silk Road must be in jail and could not get out.
The owner of silk road not imprisoned because of bitcoin but he made his own mistakes, he allegedly posted his Gmail address online, according to court documents. Fact is all transactions over the Bitcoin network are completely transparent and traceable. So it could allow multiple Bitcoin addresses to be clustered together
But you have to know, you can not know the source information as IP network or location transfered or received that amount. Of course, Bitcoin used the blockchain technology, therefore it needs to have a "book" to write all history transaction completed or pending, unless the transaction can not get confirm.
But, although bitcoin transactions are randomly transmitted over the peer-to-peer network, you can identify where the transaction originated from if you own and connected multiple bitcoin nodes, the collected combined data from these multiples nodes might be enough to discover where a transaction originated.

Bitcoin is considered to be the best security system at this time because no one can discover all the blockchain technology and no one has been able to decode Bitcoin and can destroy this ecosystem. This market is very safe and no one can hack your Bitcoin

i think secure or not its just depend on us, where we save our bitcoin and what we do for saving our bitcoin because there is many people still not too care about how to secure our bitcoin. we see that there is people that have been sad to know that their bitcoin was stolen and they trying to get their bitcoin again. as long as we can save our bitcoin in offline wallet and spend our bitcoin with carefully, then i am sure that we can secure our bitcoin from being hacked by someone.

network bitcoin hack practicality is not possible, for this, the hacker will need at least half of the total processing power of the network, and this is very much. Another thing purses where to store currency people, you can hack, if a person does not adhere to simple rules to protect your computer.

I guess it is considered secure when your pasword are also secure, so be careful when you are logging in, check it first then be familiar with the links don't just let yourself follow or click the links without doing any observation for some hackers are sending some links to hack your account. So be careful everyone.

yes I think for now Bitcoin is completely safe, and it depends how you store your Bitcoin.
because there are many wallets to store Bitcoin like an online wallet that has a private key that is completely secure provided you do not reveal your password to anyone to keep it safe.

For now bitcoin is really secure as long as you don't disclosed your password to anyone.and bitcoin itself has its own security features.it is impossible to hack because it has a special wallet to keep secure.
Bitcoin is somehow secure and will be more secure if you the user will be mindful of your decisions along the way. I mean if you keep your bitcoin accounts or bitcoins away from any possible harm to it,nothing will happen to it and it will be secured. So it also depends on you, how you are going to keep and value it.

Your bitcoin account is secure if you are going to secure it as well. Just like keeping a secret you know when to tell someone, who to tell, and why are you telling it to that someone. Ofcourse your bitcoin will be safe if you are going to keep it safe and far from possible harm. That is why you have to be careful with your bitcoin decisions along the way.
