It may sound morbid, a disaster may really show the value of BTC.

Not when the disaster leads to electricity or internet outage...
Aren't we looking for alternatives to produce Electricity and Providing Internet access through Satellite.

It may sound morbid, a disaster may really show the value of BTC. The transaction network is very open (no discrimination between recipient or sender, other than preventing double-spends and whatnot), and it's global and fast.

I'm pretty sure the BitCoin died already, ask the CEO of China...

APRIL FOOL's!   Tongue

Bitcoin is alive and kicking strong.  It's only 5 years old, wait until he reaches middle school.   Cool

*Does BitCoin still work?

No.

*What can you actually do for the "BitCoins"?

Nothing.

*How exactly does BitCoin work?

It doesn't. I thought we already established that with question number 1?

Where does the money come from?

The users create it with their imagination.

Etc.

Etc?

*How much have you guys made out of BitCoin? Is it just a hobby?

$6,980,083,387 (as of 17:20 UTC 2014-03-23)

Thank you!

You're welcome.
