It is the best currency, and it is also the most secure, from various standpoints, although the algorithm is not quantum secure entirely, while some coins are quantum secure, but they dont have the mining power to give the additional security.

So it varies.

Every coin has its own promise, but I think copycats are worthless. At least if they dont add anything new to it, then BTC is already the de facto currency for that purpose.

So I tihnk BTC is the main reserve currency in the crypto world, while the other are for speculators mainly.

I think we should not have any doubt about this. Yes, Bitcoin is the best crypto currency so far and pioneer of them all. It owns approx 84% of the total market share of the crypto currency alone.

I think this stat is enough to understand its worth. Those who have invested in bitcoin at its initial days, they are millionaires if they are still holding it.

It's not fully secure, speediest(you can see the blocksize debate), although the bitcoin has the higher value. Because there is the other alt was offering more than bitcoin. I just know if the bitcoin is general crypto.

Use several, it may be more useful for you.

Like LTC totally the transfer is fastest than bitcoin.

I agree with this statement, however there are other crypto currencies which have one sole purpose in my opinion. The altcoins are more of something made to make people feel more secure in my opinion. I personally like Bitcoin the best because there are more people using it and there is less of a chance my coins will go away.

It depends for what purpose you want to use bitcoin, if you want to use a crypto currency for store of value, then I think bitcoin is the best, for speedy transactions I don't know I have heard good things about LTC, if you want anonymity then monero is the best.

I think that bitcoin is one of the best cryptocurrencies, every currency has its ups and downs and so bitcoin does, but along with bitcoin there are also some other coins that are powerful too and have a good potential to be grown in the next few years.

Bitcoin is for sure is one of the better cryptos, and overall, especially considering the community size, it is going to be the strongest for a good amount of years yet.

There are other cryptos that do some things better and some that do things worse, Bitcoin is kind of somewhere in the middle, where it does everything well enough to function, at at this point it doesn't have anything special aside from the value and community.

The most important feature of bitcoin is that which it adopted now is that it is now a regular currency for world market. It will now remain among us till last and will not go to die the reason is that its marketcap is much high and the other bigger reason is that a number of bigger companies have adopted it so only stick with bitcoin.

It is a good idea to hedge 5-10% of your Crypto holdings in promising Alt Coins for multiple reasons. One, you can still make huge returns getting in early in innovative alt-coins, and Two just in case Bitcoin is replaced by something else (I doubt it ever will).

Actually in most cases and given the laws of physics, the faster something is the less secure it's going to be at least in principle.

In coins this is always the case because we cannot find a way to get the security of bitcoin with the speed of a centralized payment system. It just doesn't exist. And I would rather have a slower solution than a fast but centralized solution because I already got paypal for that.
