its not easy to make some surveys to know online gambling with fiat/bitcoin because not all people want fill the surveys and they will prefer not to answer it. especially in bitcoin, we don't know where the amount destination, is it for playing gambling or for buying some products. i think its more than 5% bitcoin is use in online gambling industry.

It's hard to gather some stats like these it might took a lot of time to gather each % of casinos. Also as other casino's starts accepting bitcoin in the future the numbers should increase 5% is kinda low maybe it's like 10-20%.

It is true its really hard also when you are playing at casino that will accept bitcoin to if you there going to increase the numbers into that percent it's very low actually but if they going to make the number more higher then many gamblers will be use bitcoin as they currency to start gambling.

Didn't know that only if online gambling is banned in your country, you can possibly be traced even if you use bitcoins. There's a lot of tutorials out there on how to make yourself hidden. Anyways, I don't think it's worth the effort. You don't even earn money from gambling. You can think of this is a good thing, it makes you stay away from gambling.

So because of that they could violate certain laws in their own country.

Agree, this is a good point. But I think the OP means that it will be much easier for gamblers to get money in and out to/of online casinos by using Bitcoin for payments. I tried fiat online gambling in the past and it was kinda horror. I had to sign up for a couple of different payment providers or providing credit cards. Today I only use Bitcoin. Quick and simple.

It's true that there are a lot of casinos that use BTC, but most of them have started out by only allowing Bitcoin.

Hmm, I believe that bitcoin will be the future of online gambling because of the demand of the gamblers that wants to hide their identity.

There are some gambling sites that does required information but most of them doesn't and this is what attracting gamblers to use bitcoin.

Because they can also bet with small amount and its transaction is way faster and cheaper.
