Gambling simply took Bitcoin over, I mean now Bitcoin is mostly used for gambling purposes. This is somehow nice because its popularity has to come from somewhere but at the same time it's sad for us because we need to use it for business purposes, not gambling!

Exactly... There are a lot of people buying bitcoins for such things because they dont need to identify themselves for anything being done with bitcoins as it is an anonymous coin and used widely in the world without any restrictions.

Yes it really was most bitcoin users like to gamble online. We can bet with bitcoin we got. If practically bitcoin future of online gambling I suppose it could be. But bitcoin is not just gambling and many other things such as trade, investment, etc.

I heard that in the UK also some stores are accepting Bitcoin as payment, but I am not 100% sure. Yes in most of the countries are not accepting Bitcoin that is why people are using this coin for online gambling. Because of this Bitcoin, online gambling becomes easier to all gamblers. Like with other topics that starts with " is bitcoin the..." in most cases my answer is that bitcoin have potential to be that. Will bitcoin be that, successfulness depends from many things.
Now we see that interest in bitcoin gambling is higher then ever before. Looks like this anonymity and fast registration without leaving to many documents is something that people generally like. The article is more than 1 year old and althoug I agree that Bitcoin, along with some other cryptos maybe, will become the only currency of online gambling in the future, this won't happen so fast as we might expect unfortunately. And although "the number of businesses accepting BTC payments has been growing rapidly for are considerable period already" as the article is saying indeed is true, there are still only a small part of businesses who are accepting BTC payments.
