Yeah definitely, I think for two main reasons. The anonymity that bitcoin offers, and the globalization that bitcoin is actually promoting along with its technology. These two are not found in conventional casinos.
With paypal, your moves are still tracked by government. While with bitcoin, it's much less likely. And you can gamble 24/7, whenever you are in the world.

I would not go that far and say Bitcoin is the future of online gambling, but it does offer as a good option for deposits and withdrawals at gambling sites.
