not only bitcoin
i'm sure all cryptocurrency is currently too technical for beginners
too many numbers behind zero (0) 0.0xxxxx
but this should be easier if you use the right wallet
like a wallet that shows the value of USD / EURO / GBP rather than showing the amount of bitcoin / cryptocurrency

So I was watching "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" and I came across a video where Jimmy is talking about Bitcoin's Birthday  " Thank you, Bitcoin for turning 10 years today this week which is the exact amount of time it takes for someone to explain it to me what the hell Bitcoin is".
Also, I know it was meant as a joke but don't you think this explains facts in a humorous way!
I feel like the biggest problem with Bitcoin is the "understanding" of it.
What do you think?

Yes, I agree with you. Not many people understand bitcoin. Although it has been 10 years since its inception, it is still a short period for bitcoin to be able to gain worldwide recognition. Who sees it as a threat, someone considers it a valuable asset, and someone just a means of making money. All of them need to go through the stage of understanding bitcoin to know what it is capable of and use it correctly.

Bitcoin definitely has to pass through the stage of understanding it for  people to be able to use it worldwide. This cannot happen overnight because it is a process. Understanding virtual banking and electronic fund transfer was not easy when newly introduced but people got used to it over a period of time. Same will happen with bitcoin. I learn that some schools are already teaching cryptocurrency.

For me no, bitcoin is not difficult to understand as long you know how to seek information. It is up to the person how they find ways to gain more knowledge. There are time that we cannot understand clearly all which needs action to it.

Understanding everyone who uses bitcoin is of course different, sometimes they understand that bitcoin is only a rubbish coin, only digital coins, or just as planting their assets. We must be able to harmonize their understanding all into one common understanding, so that bitcoin is more focused and directed

I am totally agree with you,  Yes its depend on people what is their understanding about bitcoin. We are using Bit oin for more than a years but the understanding or the meaning of bitcoin is still broad because of the sharing knowledge and a point of view or opinion of other people. As time goes by, many senior bitcoiner are still searching for an accurate information about bitcoin.

yes if you have difficulty understanding it, especially there are many members here who really don't understand technology, especially the blockchain system.
and this almost happens to all new bounty hunters.
it's really true because in my opinion it's also difficult to understand is my blockchain technology, because most people here who still don't understand are how to use it and the system too

The blockchain technology and its technical details seem hard a bit to understand for so many people, but Bitcoin itself as a cryptocurrency and a payment method isn't really difficult to understand. People who want just to trade, hold and make money by working with Bitcoin can doing this by the minimum required knowledge.

I don't think it's "too difficult" to understand, it's just really complicated and tricky. It's not something you can easily Google and read in two seconds, hoping you'll understand it enough before your friend quiz you on something. If you don't have the patience to read up and on it, then it might take you ten years to understand bitcoin, and cryptocurrency in general.

To understand technically how it works is difficult, and of course, most people don't understand it, as it's very specific of informatic area. But the basic necessary to use the currency is totally possible to be understood, if the person has a legit interest on it. Humor is used to explain facts in a exaggerated way, but sometimes humor is pure exaggeration, the facts stay in second plan... Probably these people who don't understand Bitcoin aren't really interested on it at all.

If you are a techy person ,understanding Bitcoin how it works is pretty simple. If you know how torrent works and P2P devices. You will easily grasp the concept of blockchain.
it is not difficult if we have learned and know right and like our own children we have to take care of the difficulties that I only have when I resist to sell even though at that time I was in need and there was no other way or solution

I believe the question is not "if bitcoin is hard to understand". The real question is, if people willing to understand how bitcoin works other than just speculating.

Although Jimmy was joking there is some truth to this. Bitcoin is easy for tech savvy people but for those that struggle with computers they should simply stick to cash and card, until lamen technology comes out

I think we cannot get knowledge about bitcoin if we only rely on reading, because if we only read we will find it difficult to find the flow of bitcoin. an easy way to understand it we need to use it and practice it.
and this happened to me.

That's correct, the majority of the people even in the crypto space doesn't know what Bitcoin is and they only know it as a money-making-machine that can turn their money to multiple times fold in short period of time and this is what they know about Bitcoin. Many people in here only know Bitcoin as a Crypto Currency but don't know what a Crypto Currency is, and what is the use of Crypto Currencies like Bitcoin and this is the reality.
Almost everyone knows Bitcoin as an investment medium especially those people that joined the crypto space when Bitcoin was skyrocketing at the late 2017 and early 2018 and most of them are here with the sole purpose to multiply their money and most of them have lost their money instead of gaining. The real problem in here is the wrong information being fed on people by those "FOMO"(Fear of missing out) spreaders and these people that spread this kind of misinformation about Bitcoin are also the people that spread "FUD"(Fear uncertainty & doubt) about Bitcoin. Most of this organize FUD and FOMO spreaders are controlled by some evil people that wanted to gain profits in an unethical way. Cheesy
