i also read some article that bitcoin is ask by the kidnaper as form of payment. which in cash bank can control a withdrawal limit in bitcoin it cant be control so the disadvantage of bitcoin is used by the criminal as advantage to their transaction which they cannot be trace.

I would agree with the judgment that bitcoin can also be used for crime. Only the term "criminal" does not quite fit, or rather it will be for illegal transactions.

I think the bitcoin may have used it in bad ways. because many states prohibit BTC so that no one can launder money.

To be honest since bitcoin is open to the public and anyone who has access to the internet can have bitcoin YES! Bitcoin is just a platform it depends on its user if they will be using it for good in earning money or have the opportunity and its features be used in money laundering like what had happened in China.

I think bitcoin is used for bad intentions as it is hard to trace and is accessible worldwide. I also think bitcoin won't get banned. Too much good uses for bitcoin. Regulated maybe and also traceble....Don't think so.

Any kind of means can be used by criminals. Dollar bills are used by criminals just as much. There is no point really discussing this, because anything can be used by criminals: sticks, Toyota cars, Armani suits, credit cards, banks, etc. It does not mean bitcoins should be prohibited. You would not ban cellular phones, just because criminals use them? Of course not.

I think not.. how can you used bitcoin in a crime unless you can will scam people in bitcoin. There lot of scammer here Also hacker . Hacker also same as criminal because they thief other exchanger and wallet they got big money when they do that.

The real criminals are the one's printing fiat, collecting taxes and sellings weapons around the world.
And bitcoin is a currency and like any other currencies like USD,... it is used for a wide variety of reasons by different types of people. Everything is used by criminals, not just Bitcoin.

In recent times criminals have entered the data of some banks and some large companies in the world. They force companies and banks to send bitcoins to them. Because bitcoin only works on the internet the criminals can pretend to be, and get bitcoin undetected. This is probably the main reason why most of the countries doesn't approve and agree with the use of Bitcoin. It can be used for illegal payment transactions and the government should take into consideration about the risk of using bitcoin.

Precisely, i don't know why people cease the least opportunity to castigate bitcoin. Every currency around the world can be used by criminals depending on which one they find convenient and since bitcoin is globally accept and provide high anonymity its no secrete that these bad guys could be using it but it doesn't make bitcoin any worse.

Honestly I think They use it to make their Illegal transaction fast and secure in the Internet. they Use BTC because of its high and vOlatile vale. Ive been to the Dark side of the Internet and their type of payment there are All in Currencies in the Internet or Crypto Via BTC. There are Drug Dealers, Organ Sellers and Etc that accepts BTC as Payment and Few for the Fiat Money that WE use. In My country, Ive heard none using BTC as Illegal transaction but through time, there will be.

So many negative campaign about bitcoin or altcoin. I think its depending on us to use our bitcoin or money. Even fiat money can use for crimininal act but no media cover it. I think, bitcoin always use for criminality is negative campaign and should not to listen

Criminals always find ways how to make transaction secretly and if they will use bitcoin to transfer funds then they are sure that they will be safe since bitcoin is decentralized and there is no information needed. We can't stop them for using bitcoin as a tool for their crime and its sad that we can't do anything about it.
