I don't think so. Governments may fear Bitcoin because it's value is determined by users and not central governments or banks. Bitcoin do poses a challenge to economic machinery of the countries. Governments are cautious about its growth rate and the development of Black money with Bitcoins. But Bitcoin is still too small to make government fear about their future.
Bitcoin was designed to be able to bypass a third party, which includes the government and that's a threat to the extent governments can control the finances of their people. That's however quite far from having anything to do with a goal to end governments, fiat or anything. Bitcoin seeks to innovate the financial sector and that's all.

No and that wouldn't be a good goal either , not every government is only bad.
The goal is to give people control over their own money , with no banks involved.
Paying taxes is still a very necessary thing , and i wouldn't want to see my country without a government.

Bitcoin is not capable of doing such thing. Bitcoin gives us opportunity to become independent from banks and governments at the same time. How? We can store securely our bitcoins on our own, no need to show your real ID anywhere. Governments won't be able to monitor our transactions. That's why they don't like the idea of cryptocurrencies, they are losing control. Terrorism became a huge problem in some countries, these countries will try to destroy cryptocurrencies because in their opinion it helps terrorists.

I do not know where this information comes from, but bitcoin, in my opinion, has never set a goal to destroy governments. Even to say it is stupid. The state structure with different forms of government has existed for thousands of years and still no one has managed to live without the government. Anarchists, Bolsheviks tried to do it, but in reality one form of government changed to another, even more ugly, and governments still existed. If bitcoin had set such a task, then at the first attempt to do something about it, it would be outlawed, and the persons who use it would be criminals and quickly lose its importance and be forgotten .

The governments are not supporting it because it is a threat to their way of banking and that is why some of the governments are not supporting it. They should know that BTC could really help people and create a new system of payments and should support it by joining the development of it.

Bitcoin is good for the people and good for the governments as well it is not aim of the bitcoin to end the governments as it is good for the betterment of the economy and this is good for the people who are jobless or they went to abroad and through this they can send their digital money form one place to another and by this currency many people are doing businesses and this is the future currency so bitcoin is good at all for the governments and every one in the world.

Bitcoin is an open-source, its design is public, it is decentralized, nobody owns or controls bitcoin and everyone of us can take part on it. I dont think bitcoin will end the government. For me bitcoin was made to assist the government in terms of economy, and not to stop the government.

No, this is not the goal of Bitcoin and I think this is completely wrong theory.
Bitcoin was never backed up by any political option and I don't think the creator hasn't set any political goals. Economic maybe but political not.
Besides, world and countries without governments is pure utopia, don't have hopes for that.

From all I know bitcoin was created for two reasons:
Everybody should be able to send funds online, even if banks reject you.
And then you have to keep in mind that bitcoin was created in 2009, shortly after the financial crises for which the banks were responsible a lot.
Bitcoin was Nakamotos answer to that crisis.

This is absurd. Bitkoyn himself will be constantly monitored by governments and if he somehow negatively affect the economy of the country, the government will establish rules for bitkoy to eliminate such influence, or make it minimal.

gold is a decentralized currency, and it being that .. gold did not impact the thousands of past governments that much.
Well, no one says Bitcoin can stop the government, just because a virtual currency cannot end the governments of the world, in the future Bitcoin can be supposed to be an active currency. And there will be private banks, many of which are currently banned from Bitcoin and there is no indication that it will allow it to operate in the future.

No, Bitcoin goal is not to end the government. Bitcoin started as a decentralized peer to peer payment system, don’t think so complicated.

This will never happen. Bitcoins are created to help human life, not to destroy governments. If it really threatens the government, I think it is very dangerous for human life .. and the government of nations will end up bitcoin.

The purpose of crypto currency and bitcoin, in particular, is to make life easier for people. The creators of the crypto currency did not set itself any political goals, including the destruction of governments or states. If the crypto currency will set itself political goals, it will very quickly be destroyed by an association of states that will not even tolerate a threat to their existence and sweep away everyone who will be on their way. States and governments have existed for thousands of years and no one has yet succeeded in destroying this social superstructure. It will not be possible and crypto currency.

I don't see bitcoin ending government and also bitcoin is not even fighting or against the government, bitcoin is here to give us the ability to send money in a peer to peer level without any restrictions and also bitcoin is here as a secondary currency to it users and as an assets. Bitcoin does not have the features of government and can never be a government but a digital currency and a revolution in the world financial system only the bank can see bitcoin as a trait to them and not government.

Incorrectly, bitcoin only invites many countries to improve the greedy and non-mafia-free financial system and should be fully understood. Currently the world requires certain countries to rich and destroy the economy of other countries, this should be straightened with crypto currency because greater destruction will not happen if the economy is evenly distributed.

I have seen many people say that Bitcoin will end governments.

But do we really want that?

And if yes how would things like infrastructure be provided without a government? (This is just an example, you can discuss any issue you see fit for this topic)

Bitcoin, or the block chain might have the characteristics like decentralization or freedom. And people think that it is a good way to escape from the arms of the abusive government, but it really depends on the government. We have these "government" to avoid chaos but they are ending out abusing third power and stealing millions to people. If these guys are good (some are) then all of the money they are accumulating will go to the more better status of the country, the concept of government is good but the question is what type of government do you have now?
And the block chain is not intended to be that way, if it has a lot of application in us then it has a more application when it comes to institution and government. Block chain is wide enough to have a potential in all of the institution and people who will use it.

I don't think Bitcoin was created with the goal of ending banks and nor even ending the baking system, as far as I can think is Bitcoin was created with an insight of it being an asset to us and help us financially and also to get our finance system decentralized maybe
