I dont have any idea on whats going on with bitmixer and as far as i know they are legit infact they are still operating on signature campaign. They are a legit mixing service and i dont know what are the current issues thats this mixing service involved.

Well yeah, i mean coin mixing itself is essentially like a grey area.

But really there are no signs of bitmixer being a scam right now. This discussion thread isn't about whether coin mixing is legal or not, but rather Bitmixer as a service, is it providing the service they promised? As I said before they are in my opinion. They are operating a highly successful signature campaign that has been going on for years, and i don't see any complaints on scam accusations.

I don't get it why there are people that are thinking those legit once to be shady and those shady to be legit, it's hard to understand people.
Suspecting one cannot be ignored because we do not know when one person or service may turn their intentions. There were many records that some services suddenly stopping paying out and one escrow from this forum suddenly disappeared with all the funds he got through providing escrow services.

Oh yes, you're right with it I forgot that thing even there are people / services that has been trusted for a longer time, things can changed.

But I think it's totally different with bitmixer, they built trust and reputation to the bitcoin community as one of the well known mixing service.

always check the domain / website address before using them, figure out the btc - bit words used by them.
There are multiple ways available to double check the reliability. Still we cannot be sure about one services all the times. But particularly for bitmixer, I am not finding any complaint nor scam accusations. When I tried them some two months back, all went smooth for mixing my bitcoins.

There's none when it comes to complain about them but there are people that are making this type of site as an opportunity to fool people.

They are imitating almost exact name of the domain but I guess it's out of their jurisdiction and it's our negligence if we'll fall for those type of sites.

Bitmixer is a very reputable mixing service that has existed on this forum for many years without issues in the least. Just by looking at one of your sources it seems that you're a bit confused on what's going wrong with the people on Reddit. It more or less a phishing link for the guy on Reddit who got stuck on a site that was mimicking Bitmixer.io and stole a pretty penny from him.

That wouldn't put BitMixer.io in the light for a scam in the least, it would just say that the guy wasn't bright enough to go ahead and check everything before he went ahead with mixing again with who he thought was Bitmixer.io

I wouldn't even count this site as a source (http://bitcoinscammer.com/?listing_type=bitmixer-io-scam-ripoff) has no evidence in the least and could just be some shit poster screwing around. I've said this on many topics and I'll repeat it again, find some better sources with real evidence when you bring some huge claims to the table.

You must avoid having transactions with this web mining site because it is a scam and no payment will be paid in your wallet if you try their miner, everything turns to non sense and a waste of time. Most of these mining site circulating in the web is offering mining investments but in the future they will get all your profits.

What are you saying? Bitmixer.io is a BTC mixing site and not a cloud mining site. Did you read the original post? And youre wrong, its not a scam. Its one of the longest running tumbling services in the scene.

I checked your campaign and its one of the highest paying ones. All you do is post gibberish. How did you get hired by Yahoo?

haha hes hallucinating and didn't even know what is bitmixer is and surely he don't even try to check on what is the real service offered by bitmixer itself.

Yahoo should sort his participants so that he would not get a participant who can put his campaign in shame.

But anyways For our information bitmixer is i think a good legit site where we can mix our coin safely.

Based on my own experiences bitmixer isn't a scam. They have been running a very smooth signature campaign for over 2 years now. If they were a scam in the first place then they wouldn't have spent so much consistently on advertising on the bitcoin forum.

Most of these scam accusations are also from long ago and are probably solved.

Reviews on "bitcoin scammer" sites are not always legitimate. Anyone can post them. Even business competitors. The best way to see if a site is scam is to search it up on bitcointalk, see if has any open scam accusations and also if it has any negative trusts on its main account.

The reddit account says Btcmixer.io and not Bitmixer.io and those are two different services , In fact that website is making a phishing attempt to catch users who use Bitmixer.
I'm not saying this because I'm wearing their signature but all the other links provided have lack of information's and no one actually posted a proof that they got scammed. It's being some years since they are running and advertising on the forums and I see no reason why would scam people over small amounts.

Btcmixer.io looks a phishing site to scam noobs, actually bitmixer.io is very legit, the most famous bitcoin mixer here. We can see their advertisement daily.

I do trust bitmixer.io and it's already popular in the mixing service. And it looks like there are people that wants to use it for scamming people.

Nowadays I saw people that wants to imitate and deceived customers by changing their website address into almost exactly the same one.

And I'm sure that they won't stop as people wants to keep using mixing services.

i do trust bitmixer also and i don't think they will scam people since i don't see any bad reputation posted on their thread and also bitmixer is my first choice interms of mixing my coins and surely for running for so long they where already build some good reps for their business.

And i've seen that also and we must be aware for those imatators and feel annoyed for those people who copied/build a site who intend to scam people outhere.

I don't get it why there are people that are thinking those legit once to be shady and those shady to be legit, it's hard to understand people.

We all know if there is a service that is becoming popular in the market, there are people that wants to take the advantage of it.

So for those people out there, always check the domain / website address before using them, figure out the btc - bit words used by them.

What this site excatly do with btc?Mixing the adres sending from one to another for just paying fee? What is the reason to use this?
nothing that concerns you. but here is the short answer, if you steal bitcoin and don't want the buyer know it's the stolen coins you use a mixer.

Bitmixer still active and paying for their campaign right now and i doubt the problem they are just halving some bugs in bitmixer when they are processing or mixing bitcoin.. they can actually contact the support since the supports is really helpful.. and they can fix it easily..
What bug exactly? there is no bug and there is no scam whatsoever, you want to hide your final destination address? then use a mixer other wise no one forced you to send your coins to them.

Never used a mixing service but with what they advertise to be able to do I would say something is fishy when someone tells you to send bitcoin to them and expect to get your coins back for the same amount minus the fees to do this service they claim to do and is on the level.
You know what I mean? Undecided
Washing bitcoins for you is a questionable business in it on itself.
Wouldn't you agree?
No I don’t agree, to begin with you can do anything with your money that is legal, and washing your coins is not illegal, second there are legit reasons to wash your bitcoin one of those reason is to add a layer of anonymity, to put distance between you and your coins so they are not linked.
Why not just use Monero if you want to say completely anonymous?

Because BTC is better than Monero. Always have been and it will always will be. Monero is not scalable because once there are enough people using it, the blocks will have a size thats 50 times as large as Bitcoin's block size. Nodes will have to be required with a larger and larger allocation of bandwidth as the time passes by.
Actually, LLec does in fact hit a good point. Monero lends itself perfectly to transact anonymously with the outside world. It doesn't come as a surprise that Monero and even Dash have grown rapidly.

It's up to the people to decide whether or not to make use of these coins, but I think it's great that there are several alternative ways of transacting in a private manner. It gives you something to choose.

I would highly suggest to most of us here in this thread because of my worst experiences off that site, i sent btc amount for them to upgrade the so called web miner speed but nothing was paid in my wallet address. It was a scam happened to and not only me but most stories were the concerns same as mine.

You must avoid having transactions with this web mining site because it is a scam and no payment will be paid in your wallet if you try their miner, everything turns to non sense and a waste of time. Most of these mining site circulating in the web is offering mining investments but in the future they will get all your profits.

Now i fully understand what you mean, you are talking about cloud mining which obviously don't belong in this thread. Time to report obviously a spammer, you post even you don't know what you are talking about here

Wait a minute mate, we aren't talking about cloud mining / web mining. As the title says, we are talking about bitmixer, a mixing service. By the way, what makes you OP think that bitmixer as a scam? It's been already in their service for long time already and I don't have any issues with their service or even attempted to scam my coins.
