Ok guys.

It looks like BitStrategy.net has "shut down". Here's there Facebook page quoting this about 24 hours ago:

"Breaking news: Due to so much inflow of money into our system and some excessive damages to our mining rigs and machines we are currently unable to pay all investors. And also our website is currently undergoing serious attack, so we would quickly pay as much investors as we can on one condition of upgrading. In conclusion we would advice those that will need their withdrawal from #bitstrategy to kindly message me here to upgrade your account to enable withdrawal. We are truly sorry for the inconvenience.
Note; Due to some website problems. All payments will be done here on this page. Thanks for choosing us. #bitstrategy bitstrategy.net #mlm #pays #hyip #bitcoin #mining"

What a crock of you-know-what.

And, after you message them, a reply is received:

"We are under attack on our website so we are going to payout as much people as we can. You will surely get all your payouts from bitstrategy only if you upgrade.

There are three upgrades you can choose from.
1.) Standard $30: after you upgrade to this plan, all your pending withdrawals will be released slowly, it can take from a week up to a month to release all your money to you. This plan costs $30

2.) Premium $75: after you upgrade to this plan, all your pending withdrawals will be released slow, it can take from 24hours up to a week to release all your money to you. This plan costs $75

3.) Gold $200: after you upgrade to this plan, all your pending withdrawals will be released extremely fast, it can take from 30minutes up to an hour to release all your money to you. This plan costs $200

Send any of the payment to bitstrategy upgrade bitcoin wallet; 12i85U4vjQy7QNe3zabfAE3b6oKTAert8J

Reason for the payment;
As the rush is high, everyone is trying to remove his or her money from bitstrategy, which will not be possible. The money will not be enough to pay all customers and as such we try to prevent cheating, we have decided to only payout to those who will upgrade because they deserve it.

Our strategy; If everybody should upgrade, there will be enough money to stabilize the system and upgrade the system to an expensive server to battle hackers. So apart from getting all your withdrawals, your upgrade will go a long way to help the system resume back normally. Thank you for the faith in us."

My investment was nominal. I hope others are OK from this site.

Understood. And I am fine with the conditions.

If I was to promote this, then as a ponzi scam. Smiley

One of my friends says he is being paid. I will get the proof of payments from him and update you guys.
However, this is clearly a ponzi scam so I suggest you not to promote this.
There will be payments as long as there are people investing into it.
But if you are last in the line by the time they run, say goodbye to your money.

Ponzi or not. Did someone get any payouts yet? Reached break even?

Poinzi only means for me:
- gamble with money you can afford to loose
- join early

If you find a new ponzi that pays out in the beginning, where I can reach break even, I am on, please send a message.

Alexa shows that this website became popular since June 2016 and they claim that they are present in the market since 2010.
Its naming servers are present in Ukraine.
Its a scam.

Interestingly enough I got the link for the site from a porn site whose video I was looking at. Bitstrategy's advertisement kept showing up every time I paused the video. Boy you can't get anything good from a porn site eh? Grin

Adult content sites have much traffic, but few accept bitcoin and people are interested in seeing others having sex, so do not see why any of supposed investment site advertising would pay in such a place.

Total scam.

1st people get paid with other people deposits until company has enough deposited then they shut down and start a new one.

The last investors lose all, and or any investors that leave their money in there.

Obvious shill for obvious ponzi scam, under the guise of 'innocently' asking if it is legit and then going on to explain how its supposed payout rate.

But a 37233% return at the end of a year for the 6% per day, 150% every 25 days option is so tempting for a guy like me who has lost so much in bitcoin trading so far. This will help me to make back all I have lost so far and more with the US $200 I have remaining in my trading account  Sad Cry.

If the returns are too good to be true, it is likely a ponzi.

Well yeah thats a sign of a ponzi but some may also set up a low return just to ensure that they get higher deposits from the users who in order to receive high earnings sends a huge amount of BTC. The main thing is to catch up the thing "Where is your money flowing to?". If they are investing into something that contains risk then obviously they will scam in future.

I somehow believe these ponzis are using a template system? Most of these sites have similar systems and wordings.

Yeah they do use the same. They either download an existing template or copy other sites template just to cut off the time as much as they can and start up the PONZI game ASAP.

Perhaps the bitcoin community should conduct a public campaign to educate new comers on ponzis.

Scam.I know the website has enough information to make it look as legit as possible but trust me everything including the company's official memorandum is fake. You can see the contact details and the domain hosting details too, don't match along with the respective nations. You know their section of official agents is fake too, trying opening their connected facebook accounts.
