I think the blockchain and bitcoin have the potential to be even bigger, it is true that the internet is almost everywhere but when we take into account that you need money for almost anything to happen in the world then the ceiling for bitcoin is a lot higher than the ceiling of the Internet which is nothing more but a way to transmit information over long distances over a network, and while some may argue that bitcoin is the same and that is running over the internet, the fact that bitcoin is a form of money changes everything.If you were to ask what it is the biggest industry in the world the answer will be finance, and if bitcoin becomes as successful as we think then it could become one of the most powerful currencies around the world or even the most powerful.
If you mean it is going to replace the Internet then you don't know what blockchain really is.
But if you mean that it will have the same impact then yes.

I don't think so. Blockchain is just an operating system to maintain exchanges, but that didn't mean the whole Internet system is somewhat lesser than this system. The current system also evolving and it won't backout anyhow.
Blockchain is the technology of the future, which is still ahead of its time. The full potential of the blockchain will be revealed after the massive introduction of the Internet of things, robotics, automation of all spheres of people's lives. It may sound fantastic, but the massive introduction of the blockchain can lead to the disappearance of states and the creation of a single world state in which there will be no wars and disasters.

I think blockchain can do absolutely that, because the blockchian can be considered a revolution after the revolution of Internet. Look at the applications that blockchain has brought us, we can see more clearly.
Internet and blockchain technology is incomparable. if you are saying this in term of exposure then you are write. I recently discussed about blockchain technology to a friend that happen to be a banker and I have very happy to heard him saying 'do you know the world of finance is tending toward this?' it means more and more new and already exisiting project will continue to integrate blockchain technology in order to reduce cost, increase reliability and improve processing speed. another of such is multibuy.

There is a huge difference between the current Internet system and the Blockchain technology. A complete opposite, the old Internet system operates under the Client-Server model where all data is focused on a certain host system, completely reverse the Blockchain technology it operates on the system. It is more than just internet, blockchain is associating internet and data transactions service and it is now commonly used in financial services such as banks. Actually it can be used for any non financial industry to record all data into a system without needing a central server. After the hype of Bitcoin,it's only natural that hype will leave. The massive increase of the price of BTC only would have resulted in hype,which naturally would have faded. I do believe that it will be within a shortlist of greatest inventions/concepts within the modern world.
what do you mean about blockchain will be the next internet? i dont get it, blockchain system is work in the internet for right now, to connect another client it use the internet as the media, if you said blockchain is the next internet, so what media will be use for transferring the data?

Sorry to disappoint you, but whatever you said doesn't make sense at all. Internet is a way different thing than Blockchain, even Blockchain can't operate without internet. To go further the Blockchain is designed as a database to keep records as blocks.
Internet is way too broad than Blockchain, at least if you see it from today's perspective. There can be many things done on internet that can't be done on Blockchain, a simple example is this forum, its completely based on the concept of internet, and thus to visit and use this forum you don't need to be on Blockchain.
If your way of thinking was to compare Blockchain as an evolutionary invention as internet than you are absolutely right. Blockchain is as important for crypto users as internet for the world wide web users. All of the Transactions that take place, or all of the blocks made, are stored in Blockchain.
Blockchain is the huge database to keep everything safe, and the best thing about it is that, it is literally unchangeable. Whatever records are registered on it will remain the way as they were at the time of their entry.
