On the bright side, LINK is trading in green in a very shaky market. Looking at its performance, Chainlink is one of the highest trading cryptos today and it is still improving in the market. Still, I'm not convinced if that is the project I should invest in. I'm following all their updates and so on, but I would really appreciate your opinion on that.

Chainlink is one of the best investments you can make at this time. In fact, I believe it will be what earns blockchain technology widespread adoption. Currently, smart contracts aren't being used by retailers and enterprises for a couple reasons. One of them is that smart contracts cannot receive third party information. Most real world use cases of smart contracts require outside information, such as market data (Bloomberg, NYSE), bank payments (Chase, Swift, Citi, etc.), retail payments (PayPal, Visa, MasterCard), events data, backend data (SAP, salesforce), and web APIs. This is known as "the oracle problem"", which the Chainlink team is trying to solve. By bridging the gap between smart contracts and third party data, blockchain can be and will be used in the real world to solve business problems. We already have security and programmability. Now we need utility. In short, Chainlink is a blockchain agnostic utility worth putting your money into. You won't regret it in a couple years. Remember, all that matters when investing is the fundamentals of what you are investing in. Ignore the FUD and HODL 
Chainlink is of the few project in the space that is sound and good development behind it. If people are confident to invest in most of these shit projects in the space then why not Chainlink. I still believe it has room for growth.
Link is the best project in 2019. It has grown amazingly and has helped many people make a profit investing in it. And as you said, instead of investing in shitcoin in this market, we should buy Link and hold. It will certainly grow in 2020

You are lucky to have made the right decision to sell your coins at the highest price. LINK is a good coin I think buying it back is not a bad thing. trade is also quite high in the market. we must consider this asset.
