Just done logged in coinbase and its still working. If I were you dont store all your bitcoin in one wallet. Because coinbase is often down system and its working fine.  Maybe you could store your other bitcoin in other wallet...
Coinbase has this problem from long time. It's not a safe place to keep your bitcoins, it's a good exchange but comparatively less secure.
Also the load time is pretty high and three confirmations getting late day by day is giving headache..
Even our local online wallet cannot be trusted too much there is chance of blocking you any time and the sad part is its  hard to recover it back., and another thing don't use online wallet when you are gambler better find other wallet to stored your money.

Coinbase is working just fine on me and i didnt experience any problem on using it specially on its wallet maybe sometimes it goes offline for some maintenance and remember that using coinbase wallet for gambling purposes is really not a good idea because they would block your wallet anytime.

I got logged out of gdax and now cant log back in due to a time out.  coinbase.com is timing out.

Anyone else or is it just me?  This is really bad timing for me Sad

Coinbase is not down and its working perfectly fine. I think in future you can use http://www.downforeveryoneorjustme.com/ to check in the future if the site is down only for you or not. Sometime clearly the cache and restarting the PC work if the issue is at your own end.
I think the site down when OP post it . But it's now working fine, I also have a friend asking same problem a week ago but after an hour it's already back to normal there is nothing to worried now.

just, don't keep any important amount of money in an exchange or any web wallet you are asking for trouble, even if you don't like the idea of having a hardware wallet or a paper wallet your desktop wallet can be made secure enough besides those exchanges are a big target so your coins will always be at risk  of being stolen by hackers or a dishonest employee.
I also agree do not put any important amount of money in online wallet use a wallet that you have a private key so you will have the full control of your wallet. There is high risk using Online wallet not safe at all.

I would be crapping myself if I had any coins above 0.15btc and could not log into my account.
With all the problems people have been having with their service for the past week now. Starting with the cloudbleed incident I would of withdrawn all my coins from there and put them on a more reliable service or a more secure medium like a hardware wallet.
But that's just me. Embarrassed

yep I got a paper wallet from bitaddress.org

what is good or not if use bitaddres.org
can sending and receive use bitaddres.org this mean bitaddres.org web wallet service or not

Not sure what you mean.  I generated 3 paper wallets using bitaddress.org and printed them out - dont need to go to their website again.  Ive scanned the QR code and added them as 'watch only' to an app on my phone for now.  Seems safe enough - unless I loose the printout!

O.T.

gdax.com is down now (well login is not working).  Getting annoying is there anywhere else that reliably does GBP/BTC?

I heard about this issue and today I tried to login to change my password. I checked that they are asking me for the Authy app code but I've never used my Authy app for 2FA and they used to send codes to my mobile. Now I'm stuck as I am unable to login to my account. Fortunately, there was no balance in it.

Today I can't withdrawal my Bitcoin from Coinbase, i see notification when want to sent my fund "Transfers on Coinbase are currently unavailable. Our team is working to restore service as quickly as possible and appreciate your patience. We will provide status updates here: https://status.coinbase.com", this issues only for member in my country (Indonesia)? or any member from other country get same issues?
Edited: now is available and I can sent my Bitcoin from my coinbase account

Really? Coinbase sucks,[...]
There were some issues with AWS, where coinbase's servers are located, earlier today. I believe that the outage only directly affected a portion of coinbase's operations, however actively using your hot wallet when you are having server issues is going to raise the chances of you losing money either because you don't have access to a change address, your hot wallet private keys leaks, or otherwise. It is also more difficult to audit user balances when some systems are down, raising the risk of money being stolen via withdrawing amounts that you should not be able to withdraw.

Well that is good to know that you have to be careful with these online wallets. I do have a coinbase account for purposes of small transactions since coinbase is the one paying for fees. But I keep most of my bitcoins in my own wallet. It's safer that way since my wallet has no downtime and chance of withdrawing money incorrectly.

I've never experienced coinbase down, maybe it was the maintenance and I think doesn't matter. coinbase is a web wallet which is the greatest and only temporary and there may be not for long time.

Really? Coinbase sucks, good thing that I just used them once when I'm trying to explore their whole site. But I didn't manage to use them as my main wallet. Good to know that they're fine now. I've read a bad issues with coinbase with a guy posted here that his wallet fund has been stolen and coinbase doesn't want to them, I forgot it somewhere here on forum.

Online wallets really sucks! I stopped using online wallets. I suggest dont use online wallet if you dont want to encounter this problems. I only use online wallet when i want my bitcoin to cash it out. Also, dont store huge amount at any web wallets because its risky. Coinbase is a shady company. I suggest use SPV wallets.
