Not necessarily. I think this year is more like 2015 when at the end of year, coins weren't at the year's high but instead they were kind of the same the whole second part of the year with a major spike at the end of October.
The best thing you can is follow the news and make sure you are clear on the goals you've set for buying/selling.

Well every year is not the same one and we can’t rely on the past data completely. However there are some positive hopes this year too as bitcoin and other currencies have seen lot of ups and down recently. When such incident happens then it calls for lot of investment into them thus giving them more exposure to the bigger market. With this kind of peaks coming along the way I am sure that December will bring some heavy pumps. I am not sure if it would be 20k or so but it will be definitely above 10-12K USD.
Well,that might happen or repeat itself again, but one thing i know is that, in crypto you cannot outrightly predict what would happen. It is possible we have another bull run at that time just as speculated by some. Notwithstanding, do nit limit yourself to that, ensure that you go about your normal activities. Make profit even before the bull run, which is possible.

It looks like there is a possibility the last year chart will be happening agian soon. In fact we are still at the stable condition right now. And there are few experts are predicting about that will be happening again soon maybe it will be starting from the middle of Q3 - Q4. that becomes a big deal to the crypto.
Guys you must know that we have a major market resistance and this is what we have now. It keeps repeating bull run will happen actually this quarter and end of this year. Look at the chart way back 2014, 2015,2016 and 2017 do the math if you have questions then please leave a message here.

In an ideal economic situation price is a function of demand and supply curves, altcoin prices is not exceptional to the rule. Talking about December and January, is there any major activity that can generate price increase? When the answer is yes then the prediction would come through if not the reverse is the case.

There is no guarantee that history will repeat. All predictions are just predictions. So you have to have your own plan. I am on the idea that it may be a bit after that, people are expecting a good end of the year, but that is not necessarily true because the situation is much different.
The expectations are the most fatal part of this business, when people speculate regarding to certain time frame the end result most of the time is quite different or went to the other side, I also noticed that that particular months happen to be the good month for most investors who knows how to play with the market, they've able to wait and sell their coins in a much decent price, as we are proceeding we are mostly hoping that same thing will happen again this year. I hope in december or january, the price of crypto goes up like last year.

we can expect the same things that might be happening in the December and January in this year and the next year but we still don't know what will happen later. the price can increase back in that month and the price can also decrease deeper so we have many possibilities to see this thing is to happen. who knows that the price won't increase in that month but the price is increased in the next month and in December and January, the price is stable in one range of the price.
I don't believe in such seasonal effects. While it might be true that there can be a small influence with tax deadlines or new year's eve, maybe even lower summer activity I don't think coins or crypto will always have bullruns und dec/jan....
I think so because looking at the historical snapshots of BTC prices, that trend has been repeating. Many people would want to invest at around September, October and then from November to December price begins to shoot real high, it gets sustained in early January and then the fall comes in again. Anyways these are all speculations. Surprises may set in
December is the month of cryptocurrency business, and it was expected by more people that the month of december the price of cryptocurrency coin will surely rise up to the higher level. And we all know that more investors now still holding their crypto coin stocks and waiting the month of december comes, because it was expectedly that month of december the prices of all crypto coins will rise.

If we look at the latest chart history based on Bitcoin's last year performance, yes Bitcoin's price will peak around that time, everybody is hoping of course because this is one of the reasons they are buying not only Bitcoin but other altcoins as well.
In theory yes that should happen really. The crypto market gets heavily invested in the year end as most of the investors does know this fact. The net effect goes radically pumping all the market cap followed by rise in the prices. 
So yes, December is something we should be looking after. Usually November month is when most of the people will start investing money into it and gradually this multiples many folds more during December month.
