DeepOnion is a scamcoin almost exclusively promoted in this forum. You will see a lot of people with its avatar and signatures here and even quality posters will recommend it here because they have vested interest it in. Stay away.

I invested in DeepOnion.
I believe that a lot of altcoins are to much focussed on the technology part. They are lacking the strategy on How to build a community. DeepOnion is doing that actively. I like that and it differentiate them from other projects. Marketing is often more important then the technology that is used. History tells us that in many ways.

Do I believe a top 10. Probably not. But somewhere in the top 50 would be nice for me and for the project.

But you never know with crypto market. Look at DOGE...the coin was a joke itself and it will reach top-10 soon.

I don't know if it's a scam coin or not, but anything that brings internet freedom to those around the world I'm in support of. I'm curious what this line means on their page:

"Helping the TOR Network: By operating DeepOnion, you help to increase the number of nodes on the TOR network, and in so doing, you help people all over the world stay anonymous online."

Does this just mean having a TOR payment platform helps TOR or does it mean something else? I'm not familiar with TOR so maybe it's obvious to others. What does DeepOnion do beyond integrating into the TOR browser?

Honestly, I don't think that there's much space for anything else in the top 10. Old currencies are taking those spots and IOTA is probably going to be losing its spot soon too. Newere currencies that went through rallies have a bad track record at staying withing the top 10 of cryptocurrencies in terms of market capitalization.

Me neither. I just heard that they make giveaway things by preparing an airdrop for their supporters. I don't think this kind of project will be in top 10 near future. The market is already filled with strong players.

If the deeponion problem can reach top 10 cryptocurency it could be. But it all depends on the consistent and seriousness of dev taking care of the deeponion platform. Try to see dev performance and deeponion community from there we can see whether deeponion going to moon or not.
