You are absolutely right. But are there any alternatives right now? I mean is there any particular strategy you are switching to?

Well, from my point of view, the only alternative is usage of hardware wallets. But in here, of course, you should be choosing the most advanced solutions only

In my opinion, much these days depends on reliability and practical value of each concrete idea. But what makes much sense - some aspects that stay for new trends. For example, I am pretty disappointed by more attacks on leading exchanges and thus interested in new strategies here

You have to specify what is a digital gold for you. If it is a Bitcoin, as an alternative to gold and traditional financial system, or you are talking about tokens backed by real gold - I mean Tether Gold or other similiar alternatives.  Cool

With all the confidence I can have in crypto, bitcoin is bitcoin and has existed for ten years, gold has been gold and has been used for more than five thousand years.
Honestly, if I have to invest to preserve value, I prefer gold ... Smiley

I am interested in this GOLD token https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/digital-gold/
Someone has already suggested about Xaut and it has already traded on exchange site and you can also take it as another choice too but if you are interested in digital gold and it's also good crypto backed by gold too and i have talked about where are the reserved gold placed.
As long as that is backed by real good with a very good transparency to the investors and what ever how much you wanna put it to the such token and that will always worth consider it has backed by real commodity.

As I am increasingly interested in investing some of my money in digital gold for the long term and I will invest around 40% whether this is good.?
give your opinion.
And I want to know a few articles about digital gold may be shared here.
thank you
For a moment I thought you were talking about bitcoin and then thought it was Bitcoin Gold. You should be post links to the coin/token you are talking about if its a new unknown coin. Never heard of Digital Gold to be honest. Sounds like some usless coin. Bad investment I would say. You are better off investing on some other better and well known coins. Though, do your own research before investing.

So you just wanted to bring some attention about the project you are promoting? Tongue
it doesn't matter if he wants to promote it, as long as he doesn't promote the scam project, Gold also has its own supply, and the supply is limited, the exact amount of gold is unknown, and Digital Gold has a total supply of 9,196 GOLD, I don't know where they got it, I think if gold runs out in this world what will happen to the project
I think they planned to run away with investors money sooner so they had less cap value.

This is the one that has an active bounty right now. I usually not investing to 'digital golds' because with the experience in the past, many of those kind of projects didn't end well. Instead of investing to this digital gold, I'll invest to the true and one that's been compared to be the digital gold and that is bitcoin.
It's a better choice than that.

In the crypto circles "Bitcoin' is whats referred to as the digital gold and if that's what you mean, go ahead mate!

If its not bitcoin and you will be considering other cryptocurrencies watch out for those shit coins that have no value return on your investment, for starters try choose from the top 100 then spread out to other altcoins.

Gold is a good and lucrative investment to lay on. But if you are intending to invest in gold as a whole,  go for physical gold than digital gold. Then if you must invest in digital gold, a 40% is too much.

Its a token that backed by gold, what makes you invest in this token instead of investing in real gold?

Did you conduct a research before deciding to invest 40% of your money? For me I will diversify my investment to bitcoin and to this since you chose it but I will be cautious because even its backed by gold we cant say if the value will increase as time passes.

If you consider the fiat. That surely everyone knows that before the money was backed up by gold reserves. Now, money is not backed up by anything, now money is a big bubble. Then how does it differ from cryptocurrency? Therefore, I believe that it is necessary to rebuild the financial system and switch to cryptocurrency, because we need to change the world for the better, and this is our opportunity.

what do you mean here is not Bitcoin but Gold (real Gold) that can be purchased on an application or site??  if yes.. advice from me, you should be careful and more thorough. in my country, many applications or sites appear to be providers of gold sales (we not accept the physical gold) but 85% is a scammer.  some are profitable because these digital gold traders offer first purchase discounts and purchase bonuses in large quantities.. again, you must be more careful..  you better buy Bitcoin than digital gold.

40%? It seems like you are really serious about doing this. but btw, how much money do you have? I estimate that if 40% of the capital you have now, then you have to be brave enough to take risks too. in that regard, I will prioritize you to invest in Bitcoin. bitcoin is an asset of Gold and is very promising for investment in the long and short term.

I guess you are talking about gold ETFs (they are known as paper gold, and not as digital gold). I have also invested in them, and currently gold ETFs comprise 5% of my portfolio. There are both merits and demerits in investing in them. Most important of them are:

Merits:

1. They are easily tradable
2. No making charges
3. Easy to store
4. More tax efficient than physical gold
5. Can be used as collateral for loans

Demerits:

1. Gold ETFs can be redeemed only in cash, and not in physical gold
2. ETFs needs to be selected carefully, depending on the bank issuing them
3. Exists only in digital form, so you can't showoff.

Of course because it solves many problems that are connected with our global world. People travel, work, buy things in different places in the world, but still they have problem with sending money and other valuable stuffs around the world. Bitcoin perfectly fits in this new world.  Cool

digital gold? as far as I know people often assume that digital gold is Bitcoin. if that's what you mean then you don't need to worry about investing 40% of your money in bitcoin. right now the price of bitcoin is slowly starting to rise and this is a good opportunity for you to buy btc and invest it in the long run.
