Imo, dogecoin are good only for short term investment and not for a huge amount (to prevent funds freezing for a long period). Buy some dogecoin, wait until Elon Musk make something extraordinary towards dogecoin and its prices rises, sell dogecoin, buy again in few months. Repeat that tactics 1-2 times per year. That is the only tactics I see towards dogecoin investment.
He barely does that once in a year or so, and for the most part of a year, dogecoin stays stable or goes sideways and even goes down sometimes if the market crashes, so I doubt if an investor can really get something out of it considering it has got no other element that can make it grow over time except for it to get hyped by Elon or the community sometimes.

I believe one should rather invest their money in something useful which can actually give them some value as time goes by instead of getting stuck with a token that is totally dependent on a celebrity at this point.
Instead of wasting time, it would be better to invest in clear coins. it's just luck if we rely on doge, because it's a meme coin which needs someone like elon musk to increase its price, but on the other hand if we have doge don't always hold it long term. release it when you already have a profit, because dumps often occur suddenly and you don't know how many more years you can recover, or even just stagnate or drop in price

in the past I've had a fair amount of dogecoin.. but in the end, in addition to the hype, what does a coin like this add that is "practical"? ok great meme, sponsored by the richest person in the world (!) and then what? What does it bring from a technological point of view?
could it be replaced by another "meme" currency or maybe sponsored by another celebrity? Roll Eyes
the design of a similar currency that is NOT deflationary by design/without a max supply… what impact will it have in the long run?
In short, before investing, I would ask myself a lot of questions and do a lot of research Wink

Investing in cryptocurrency comes with inherent risks. If more people thinks same like you, the price may reach to $1 easily. However, Elon Musk remains a vocal supporter of Dogecoin. It's important to conduct your own research to determine which investment aligns with your goals. Elon's continued promotion of Dogecoin may drive FOMO and cause a surge in price during a bull market, but timing is uncertain. Personally, I've invested in Dogecoin a few times and profited from its volatility. Ultimately, it's up to you to make your own decisions.

I hate to say this, but as long as Doge remains Elon Musk's toy, there's still a chance for the price to go high. Even though it's maybe not as massive as it used to be, it would still have some peaks that could be used to gain profits. Did you see how the Doge image in some of Twitter's features could move the price up? Yes, there are some examples there. I think it is still worth investing, but you need to be extra careful and get prepared with the news.
But there is no way to tell if Doge is still Elon's musk toy or not. Elon can stop mentioning Doge for a long time but people will only be shocked one day that he mention it again. Elon can formally say that he will end his relationship with Doge but we don't know what is running on his mind. He might re-adopt it again so I guess it's better to just have a Doge with us forever so that we won't regret missing an unexpected pump in its value due to hypes.

What happened last time where Elon replace the Twitter logo with Doge logo is a big thing. That is why the price of Doge went up but unfortunately Elon removed it after some days. I think that also affected the price of Doge, resulting for its value to decline. This is the bad thing about Doge because every action do always has a reaction.

I do not have any investment in Doge yet but am thinking about it.

I am looking for investments that will 5-10x next bull run and looks like this is a good bet considering it's all time high is $0.70.

Many say it will go past $1 next bull run and it could well do but think I would get out around $0.70 which would be a 7x if I was to invest at todays price of $0.10.

Would be good to hear some views on this - are you for or against Doge?

Look at what happens even when elon preaches about doge it goes up 20% and falls right back.  Anyone who bought in the last bull run is still sitting with bags of doge waiting to offload it.  Last time around it wasn't like that.  Doge most likely won't spike like that again unless bitcoin goes real high, and if that's the case why not just buy bitcoin.
The market that bounced and gave good profit irrespective of the bitcoin price in the past will now have its dependence over bitcoin. Earlier the market of dogecoin is completely connected to the influencers and based on their decision we were able to experience changes in the market of dogecoin. Later several tactical moves have been done and nowhere dogecoin made a bounce same as that we experienced once after words of Elon Musk. Recently he tried to change the logo of Twitter and make impact on dogecoin, even that didn't worked for him.

This dog daddy is like that, he is always doing experiments to see people's reactions and that's the kind of thing that makes him happy like that, and maybe soon Elon will leave the coin dog because of what advantages dogecoin gave him, I think that looks more than a scheme that seems to make that when Elon still wants Doge, Doge will still be alive and vice versa if Elon doesn't want Doge anymore, it is likely that investors and Doge holders will leave him and let us be eaten by them if we are late to leave, I don't mean FUD but I suggest to be more careful.
He just gave an interview saying that if someone offered him the right amount of money he would get out of twitter and sell it. Look at the guy doge people are trusting their futures with, they invested because he changed the logo, think about how silly that is for a second and you will realize the same thing as well. I personally wouldn't invest any money on someone who is so hectic and I believe that it will not be a good idea for others to do that.

What happens if someone offers him 40 billion tomorrow and buys twitter  from him, that would be even more than what it worths at the moment, and doge would crash if that happens. This is why I believe that you should not invest based on whatever some hectic billionaire says.

Don't think Doge is worth investing at this time point especially after the recent pump.Meme coins can be a good investment and bring good profits but it is better to buy at the very bottom not at the middle or top.The price of Doge coin is up already think it will be better to invest in other altcoins for now.

...Moreover, there's no telling if we can really gain if we ride with Elon because he is surely not doing this for everybody's gain, he's just doing it for his own self gain. ..

Do you really think that Elon Musk investment in the Doge coin made him the richest man in the world? Elon Musk has profitable assets in the real sector of the economy, so his shill should be considered as entertainment. He is simply amused by the very fact of the reaction of his followers to the tweets he posted.

In future Doge Coins Elon Musk would try to improve further as this was a low point.  From there, the price pumped and took a higher position. Which is now again due to a slight decline in prices, an opportunity has come for investors to invest.  So this is the only good time to invest in Doge Coins.

Actually it doesn't matter if you really want to invest in Dogecoin, but you need to be aware and understand not to get your hopes up for big profits,
it's better to be realistic so you won't be disappointed later because it seems difficult to get Dogecoin back to the hype like before,
We never know what will happen so we'll see.

Elon musk created awareness on the done coin,  but it doesn't mean you should invest in it without making your on research. Currently, DOGE still has a high volatility rate.
But there will soon be stability in DOGE price cus There's news on a release of a new core upgrade for a more effective and secure network for Doge investors. In my opinion, now isn't the best time to invest in doge.

the current price of Doge is still at $ 0.082,
which means that in my opinion 1 Doge is still very expensive compared to before Doge experienced the Pump from ELon Musk,
which only costs 1 Doge = $ 0.002 to $ 0.005,
I would prefer to buy Doge if the price of Doge dumps to $ 0.02 -$0.04, good luck.
i'd agree with this, at this current price, doge is just not worth the speculation, i'd say, wait until it gets massive dump and correction first so it's showing its real value.
even though I doubt that it will ever reach that low again after all elon seems like he's regulating the price of doge coin in general using his shill.
but my opinion still stands, doge is just not worth it for investment at this current price mainly because doge is still too far higher than its valuation few years ago and that's like betting on some altcoins that has already reached its peak to achieve the same feat once more.

I think for now it's okay to invest in Dogecoin, but don't think about the big profits you can get as before, in my opinion this is no longer possible for Dogecoin
if there are no more investors making Hype like previous years. but if there are investors who create hype then maybe we can get a bigger profit.
for now I myself have an investment in dogecoin, but only $ 200 to wait for the price of dogecoin to reach its highest price in the coming years

I agree. Many investors are influenced by Elon to invest in Doge. So even this meme coin has no real use case, they believe it's a good choice to invest because it can give huge profit to them.

Well, you can invest in any coins that you want but make sure that you did a research because we'll never know what will happen in the future. It can reach its ATH again or even surpass it but it's still uncertain. Thus, as long as you will only invest what you can afford to lose then it's up you.

I agree also. I have a mate who is quite heavily invested in Doge and expects it to go back to all time high at least during bull run.

My mate says Elon is planning to make Doge a big part of twitter and in doing so should mean Doge performing well.

I haven't got a lot invested, will be happy with a 8x or so and if that happens will just put all the profit into Bitcoin.

In my opinion, the price of Dogecoin depends on Elon Musk's actions, as we know that he always does something related to DOGE. Recently, he even added the DOGE symbol to Twitter. I believe that if Elon doesn't talk about or tweet anything related to Dogecoin, it won't be easy for DOGE to reach its all-time high again. Usually, the movement of DOGE occurs mostly after Elon makes any statements about it. 2-3 years back nobody took Dogecoin seriously and most traders used it for transferring coins because the transaction fees were much lower compared to Ethereum and Bitcoin.
