Ever since they had a new ceo and their domain got attacked, etherdelta had a downward spiral. I stopped trading in that exchange since then. I do not want to connect my eth address and risk my tokens and eth. If ever you want to trade in there, I suggest you transfer your tokens to an alternate address so that if it gets hack again, your main address is not compromised.

Etherdelta? Its a crap exchange and it has been hack for so many times and I wondering if there's people still trading at them since looks like they are caming back again the people who trades on them. Remember EtherDelta had past bad reputation and they can do it again for many times around and they will just excuse that their site has been hack so that they can exit and get the money deposited on that site.
I'm not sure about all that, but what you say is true, I myself do not currently believe it after a lot of bad reputation has happened, I do not turn a blind eye to the news, as you say, they can re-do it and arguing they have experienced a disaster such as hacking or other cyber crime, in the worst case scenario they could have gone carrying all the money stored on them, so I will rethink before deciding to choose the right and trustworthy site to save my money, because I do not want the incident to overwhelm me

I think Etherdelta is safe, but there may be some who already know the weakness of Ethredelta. So take advantage of it for personal benefit.

I used to trade with etherdelta too, all safe and running well. But we also need to be careful in converting our account. One by opening New Incognito Window in the browser that we use.

Etherdelta? The slowest exchange I've ever used. I'd suggest that if there's an alternative exchange for your target coin/token, go with it and refrain from using etherdelta.
It's just that the experience would be terrible. I don't know why there are people who still uses it.

The problem does not resolve, it is still not safe to trade. For security, you must use MetaMask or create a separate purse for trading on the exchange
you will agree to be content with the fact that we have much nicer than anything, in the near future we will do something safe and hope that everything will be OK, metamask is also unsafe

mate, just use ledger or trezor, or create new ethereum wallet for trading goals , to be calm and not worry.  I made additional wallet and connected to IDEX and Etherdelta exchanges, so when i need to sell something i just transfer that to this MEW and no problem. But anyway i plan to buy trezor, this is more comfortable.

I also give +1 for Idex, like it much more. Engine is better and design as well. It tastes better to trade there Smiley EtherDelta always been laggy for me.
I agree with you, but the stock IDEX is also not even, a glitch in the GLITCH Grin

I still using EtherDelta for these few days ago, so far i still using import my account there and there nothing critical issue for me. But yes, we still take be careful if you want take safe action. I would be agree by comment above, using MetaMask is good option, it has double securities for you being safe.

It has been a victim of hacking incidents and I would not entrust my altcoins with that kind of reputation. It happened to them many times so I hope that's enough to help your investments from getting hacked.

Just make additional ethereum wallet for trading goals, so this will be safe and you will not lose your money  in case of the exchange hacking. Or buy ledger or trezor wallet and sleep well)

it was dns hack where the hackers got control of the servers so people were redirected to their servers. It's been fixed afterwards but you have to be always careful as it can repeat in future.

Etherdelta smart contract is protected, however as individuals discovered a month ago, a DNS hack made individuals get diverted to a phony ED page where any private key they entered was then exhausted of assets. You could likewise get phished by getting connected to a phony site from places (incorrect spellings like etherdetla.com are normal for this sort of trick) where once more, they take your key.

They are back online but I still don't trust them. The fact that they didn't clear anything about the previous hack and how everything is working now that they are back online, better use forkdelta than ED. We can bare the volatility, but the possible hack when we you log account on an exchange? No way, keep safe, be safe.

I now do not really like etherdelta. much better forkdelta. it is no worse than etherdelta and the design is the same but works much faster. and coins are traded the same

forkdelta is just a better copy of etherdelta ..

however all the trading commission on forkdelta platform still goes back to etherdelta only ..
bcoz they use same contract address .

may be Forkdelta will have its own DEX , completely separate from ED .

Yes, it was not bad)) But while I'm working more with forkdelta. It works faster, less hangs. Inspires confidence and work easier)

i think etherdelta is safe and there is no problem as long as you never import your keys on phishing sites that make no sense, your deposit should be safe.
