Interest in exchange tokens is no longer the same as before, at the stage of their formation. Exchange tokens gained popularity due to interesting and profitable offers, such actions were mainly part of marketing. Now exchanges have already reached their level, of all, I like bnb the most, for me it is more profitable to hold this particular cryptocurrency.

Only if other worthy new exchanges emerge and they also offer more benefits when you buy their tokens just like the other popular exchanges had offered their users back then. Not only do they need to work with their token but they also need to promote their exchanges in order to attract investors we see lots of them fail and they quickly just close it because they are unable to support their needs to maintain it. right now, if you are interested in investing in such tokens, consider looking for the way they promote their exchanges, if they don't do such thing, then it is not recommended to buy their token for they will fall eventually due to their other competitor's non-stop promotions.

On the contrary, after BTC and few top alt coins; exchange tokens are the next option for me. It's obvious most coin experience huge dump in price and our digital gold isn't excluded. You have highlighted the attractive use cases of some of these viable exchange tokens and I feel that's convincing to hodl them. Another point worth highlighting about these tokens particularly BNB and BGB which I am currently benefiting from its utilities as it is used for launchpad and launchpool events. If you put those benefits together you would realize those tokens are worth holding compared to most coins in the market but of course you need to understand the fundamentals of any exchange token on your radar before investing.

You make some excellent points. Exchange tokens can be great long-term investments compared to other alts. I also enjoy holding them, especially for staking/farming benefits like you highlighted earlier for BGB, I think it's exchange, Bitget is celebrating the token; hitting continual ATH with some juicy rewards right now.. Another appealing reason to hold these kinda tokens

As an investor, i bought so many exchange based tokens! Bnb, uniswap, kucoin (kcs), cake, houbi (ht),  FTP and so on. Undoubtedly those exchangers are so big and reputable. I though those altcoins will pump if exchange get larger during time and if exchange add more pair with their altcoin on their platform, then price will boom but most of those are like shitcoin, dumped 70-80℅ in long run except bnb. So what do you think? I'm no longer going to invest any exchange coin anymore!

I think holding so many tokens will create problems. Tokens could fall drastically. Likewise with token-based exchange, you have to continue monitoring it so you don't lose your money. If you want to hold, do it with coins because coins are better than tokens.

Token-based exchanges also have a big risk if at any time the exchange is hacked. Around 2017, Etherdelta and ForkDelta were the best Etherium exchanges for token-based sales, but then disappeared after several hacking incidents. Many lost their assets overnight.

If you have time to trade, use a good token on a safe exchange. I don't think too much exchange is a good thing. it just puts a burden on your days. If you have a lot of money, go for coins and avoid tokens. Just holding your assets as coin and save it on your wallet, not on exchange.

Your choice is quite wise, I also agree because there are several factors that encourage it to survive, such as the continued performance of the exchange which means the token will continue to exist and be used.
I think the same thing can also be applied to other projects that have use cases that make these tokens continue to be used.

You might have bought many exchange-based tokens in hopes of higher profits. Binance Coin (BNB), Kucoin(KCS) may be the best choice among all the exchange based tokens you have bought. Although I don't recommend going ahead with exchange tokens after you've made a good choice. Also for more profit I suggest you not to be in other coins but I always suggest you to be in bitcoin and ethereum. If you can buy and hold bitcoin and ethereum then I think you will have more success holding bitcoin and ethereum than holding unique coins. Coins on exchange platforms can be disrupted at any time as we saw in the FTX bankruptcy. So be careful and avoid proceeding with such coins later

As far as I think exchange based tokens are worth holding it will depend on the investor's own decision. Now everyone is buying and selling more exchange tokens than exchange tokens in the market, finding it profitable. Good Tokens will be available all the time or at any fixed time. Good exchange coins will be profitable and gain popularity slowly if held for a certain period of time.
one of the most important factors for determining the price of an exchange coin is the exchange itself. If people's trust in the exchange falls and the value of transactions on the exchange also falls, then it is certain that coin prices will also fall. and how worthy an exchange coin is to invest in depends on how much confidence there is in the exchange backing it.

There is one undeniable advantage to holding exchange tokens, it is participation in Launchpool and Launchpad, thanks to which investors earn very well. This cannot be denied.

Even the BNB, what if Binance got hacked or something happened and it fold up? BNB will crash and become useless. I used it as the example because it is the one you recognized most and the first among them if marketcap is used. Any exchange can get hacked and this may cause their token to become useless. Go for decentralized coin like bitcoin.

I think that BNB, is worth holding because it's backed by Binance, being the top exchange among other exchanges, but speculators categorize exchange tokens that if anything happens to their parent exchanges like being hacked, that the investors capitals in the tokens will go down with the exchange. However I still consider any top altcoins to be worth holding like Ethereum and BNB, you know that they've built solid reputations in the crypto market, so if their prices dips, it's only a matter of time and they'll begin to pump again. Let's not forget the king of them all, being Bitcoin, a decentralized  cryptocurrency that guarantees ROI.
i think we overlook the fact that BNB in itself have Binance Smart Chain backing it up like even if binance somehow performs bad or the exchange got hacked, i think its different entity altogether, the fact that there are many dapps could probably hold up the value quite well when something bad like that occurring.
basically binance has created really good way to secure their BNB or at least give some safety measure for it when binance facing problem so that BNB will not get affected.
so therefore im not really worried if about the value of BNB in the future, even with many problems, its not gonna get shaken that easily.
instead i would worry about other exchange coin that only have utility of cutting those exchange fees.

I think it makes sense to categorize investments and make them accordingly. In this context, exchange tokens always deserve attention, as they generally do well in bull markets. However, centralized exchanges sometimes have problems with hacking attacks, decentralized exchanges sometimes have problems with contract vulnerabilities. We should always remember that they are not 100% safe investments...

Not all exchange based native tokens worth the hold. but some of them are. Like BNB, Kucoin, Cake, Uniswap etc. these are good for holding as long as the exchagne don't run away like FTX.
the reason of holding a coin/token is the project and compony behind that. it doesn't matter if that is an exchange token. or a token of any other project. if you see a good and trustworthy project then you can hold that.
BNB happen to be the best Exchange token so far. it gave a lot of profit to it's holders and traders as you can see it's starting price and price of today.

Well watch out for what binance can face in the future mate , we have seen how many cases they have faced and they will still have more in the future unless they will be going with the government and from that the exchange will not worth trusting by crypto users that looks for the privacy.
If not for the success of the Binanace platform, left alone its native coin BNB would have faced seveir DIP due to the problems like you said they have been through and of a truth more are yet to come so their is no correctness of assumption if they will continue to last better and longer then they are now.

I feel like exchange based tokens should be looked with the volume of the exchange as well. If the volume is high then you could consider that as a possibility, but if the volume is low then you should avoid it. Volume could be found at CMC as well, you can rank exchanges based on volume, but be careful because some of them make fake ones, so check the liquidity there as well when you get the chance, before you invest.

This way, you are going to end up investing into something much bigger and the token of that exchange will be going higher since it's always in demand. I believe that will definitely be a good thing, and we should consider these type of investments as good, specially right before the bull run because volume will go up even more.

A lot depends on what kind of token you want to hold with. For example, the token of binance exchange is bnb. When they have a staking, some part of the bnb has to be taken. Because of which the price of bnb increases a bit.
However, due to theft of assets from various exchanges, many of those exchanges became bankrupt. Therefore, before investing in anything, you must think about the possibility of risk.

Exchange-type coins that are tokens have the advantage that most projects are very beneficial to their users and visitors because they are supported by their exchange and often Exchange-type tokens have their own exchanges that support them and accordingly come up with such projects that people show their interest in it, which is why Easy project It tends to go up in a very, very good way, and that's why I would say that these are really great concept projects that are exchange type.

Not all exchange-based tokens can soar in price. However, there are also some exchange-based coins that are worth investing in long term such as BNB. We know that since the emergence of BNB, many people bought it at that time when the price was relatively low, but as time went by, BNB experienced a very high spike and even reached the ATH level and we are sure that if the halving occurs, popular exchange-based coins such as BNB will again reach a new ATH.
true, but if investors turn around and sell their BNB coins, it will definitely be bearish. Let's remember yesterday's incident when CZ reportedly resigned from Binance, like that alone it could move the BNB market. especially if big investors immediately take a stance to sell the BNB they hold. it will definitely run out too. Keep following the flow and developments of the market, if you feel it is unstable, immediately switch to another altcoin.
