This is the stats from the site, just wanna ask if anyone ever hit the number 9998-9999 or 10000 and win something worthy?

I think it is kind of tournover statistics.

Few months ago was thread with discussion about winnings from freebitco.in . Nobody never show (real) proof that hit 10000, but as i good remember there was couple hits over 9990

Maybe we should ask about that directly the owner of the website Smiley

Take it for what it's worth but I well remember how the owner of the CoinAd faucet, a Bitcoin banner advertising site, had been claiming a couple of years ago that he was able to attract a few thousand referrals after he had shown on his site a freebitco.in ad with his own referral link in it.

None of them ever hit 10000, according to his own words.

I think you are wrong someone already mentioned that he hit 10000 and earn around 0.3. This is what I think though most of them are playing through their dice games which is have high house edge so many of them much probably lose it rather than winning but that is not the reason because every xxx wagered they play, they can earn tickets to lottery. But until now I never saw any single people claim that they already win any amount from their lottery. I dont know if this is still worth our time

As i know the owner of CoinAd is AlienBitcoin, so it is competition in faucet world.. I will not expect any positive words from someone who want to take over freebitco.in market.. Wink

In my opinion it's worth our time, the chances of getting a huge payout is undoubtedly rare. you could do some other stuffs(designing, micro jobs stuffs like that)  and make much more money than faucet.

Yes, I do agree that these faucets are not worth for our time spent. But these are good for only newbies who just enter to bitcoin field then they may first want to collect some free coins to have that feel of joy. Slowly they will realise it that it is waste of time and then move on to find other ways to increase their earnings.

I have fun with these faucets....I've never won the big amount but I have won a few of the medium amounts.  I deposit a few bucks every week for the lottery, but I've never won it....been playing for quite awhile too.  But, it's always fun for me to check in each Sunday to see if I've won the lottery....I don't gamble there seriously though....just play the lottery and spin the faucets when I'm bored between poker hands.

This is basically the only faucet I use from time to time, just a fun game and I've actually won something after playing dice with the faucet claims.
Never deposited anything though...

For many people from this forum freebitco.in faucet was the first step to cryptocurrency world. After time you can have feeling that it is losing your time, but in my opinion, for new users it is the best way to start adventure with Bitcoin.

Agree, though I think that if someway you're able to hold lots of refferals it might get funny again there

It's true, I have about 10 referrals which gathered more than a year ago, and from what I can see, some of them still occasionally coming back there .. I also have a sentiment to freebitco.in , and once in a while I check there if I'm lucky in the lottery.. Wink

I stand with Ukraine.
I heard someone won $200 from their faucet recently and the guy was here on bitcointalk providing evidences. I wouldn't recommend to play the dice game there, but I think it wouldn't hurt to visit the site from time to time trying your luck with their faucet. Although you mostly get $0.002, I can confirm that to hit at least $0.02 or $0.2 is possible sometimes.

Both of these are basically faucets but their gambling section is only there to make profits to pay faucet rewards as they have no other way to pay members since Adsense disabled their account. I wouldn't recommend using them for gambling only.

I'm consistently getting around $0,002 worth of USD per "roll" from Freebitco.in.

That's $0,002 per hour.

I guess I'm still rolling because once you start, you can't just stop... can you?

Besides I'm behind my computer all day and it's not like I have anything better to do...

You should spice it up a bit, and not take your free roll income. Take those Satoshi and buy Lottery tickets on the same site or just dump them in the multiplier to lose them faster. At least then, you would get some adrenaline flowing with the hopes of winning it big. If you are doing this for the entertainment value, you must go all in and enjoy all the fun this site has to offer.  Roll Eyes

As you said, you have loads of time and tons of money to spend on wasted electricity. ^LoL^ You will pay more in miners fees, due to all the dust this is creating in your address, than you would be getting from the free rolls you receive. The only chance of you making a profit out of this, is if you gamble those Satoshi's on the multiplier or the Lottery and actually winning something. ^smile^

By buying their lottery, do you really believe that you can win it? Because there is no one claimed it before, not even the first prize, the 10th prize no one ever claimed it until today. So how are you going to suggest people to keep on buying their lottery tickets?

Where were you, when I was asking these same questions here? : https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.16662903 I figured while everyone on this forum wants to believe that this site is provably fair, why would I swim against the majority?

People on here seem to believe that the money you get from this faucet are provably fair, and it's free!! The advertising of a possible $200 per hour WIN on the free roll is 100% true and no false advertising.

So now, I go with the flow, and promote these < Provably Fair > features that might Net you a profit, if you keep doing it for a few years. I mean, the odds of you winning anything is good... Nooooot. ^hmmmmm^

You have a better chance at winning on the Multiplier or the Lottery, than hitting the $200 per hour free roll, so why not waste some time doing that. ^?Huh

i didnt say that their games is not provably fair. They have a good reputation for their faucet games and dice too (although they have high house edge), but for their lottery thing i dont even know because until now there is no any single person that ever claim that. Unless you got proof that they really pick a right address every week. And how much did they spend just only from their advertising, mean while they keep spending more than 1 btc every week?

I also say that their games may be fair but their lottery system is totally rigged and their is no proof of fair claiming, only the new users are getting the winning  of lottery which means that the site and his alt are only getting the lottery winnings because out of 10 lottery i have hardly seen any old user winning but that too bottom 2 or 3 numbers.

So i can say that freebitco.in lottery system is not fair and totally manipulated by the site owner and claiming by creating his own alt accounts. so if you are joining to win lottery then even if you are very lucky you wont be winning in top 7 position.

I think that the site is a fun way to get some small amounts of bitcoin, but of course, you won't be able to make a living off of freebitco.in. If you are lucky, you can win the lottery, which I think can be a good profit.

Man, in my point of view this webpagew don't worth the time you spend using (surfing) it. I mean, this faucet with lottery is a good strategy for ads and the domain name contributes a lot, so, the admin of this site pays almost nothing and win sure he win (more than nothing... Just take a look into the statistics in seo analytics). So that's what I think about this kinda "system".

Actually, while freebitco.in might look huge now, and nowadays the owner probably makes a decent profit, the owner probably put in a lot of work to get freebitco.in to the point where it is now. Running a faucet isn't all fun and games, and while it looks easy, I assure you it is not.

I recently called against a user playing there and earning while gambling the coins he earns.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1564368.0;topicseen

They said its okay to play there even if the faucet is small and the house edge is sky rocketing. Are they right?

This faucet has long been known for its hefty house edge. Personally, I don't think you can earn anything decent there unless you somehow manage to attract a lot of active referrals (hundreds or thousands). That seems to be the only way of getting any profits from the faucet. The probability of hitting high values (9885-9999) on the free roll is also skewed. There had been discussion with specific figures, and it is substantially lower than what you would expect if you based your judgment on simple math.
