From my own narrative and approach to gambling, I definitely think and understand that gambling has to entirely do with luck it doesn't matter how much strategy we follow or how we increase our stake in the hope of actually securing a win by reducing the odds and increasing your stake which most of the times actually turn out opposite of what we have planned. I have seen many cases of gambling where luck was just the base factor to the after result of the game and I have come to believe that although sometimes strategy do help abit but the major factor that is involved in gambling is basically luck.

However, in life we don't know what our chances are or how the system works for real. Sometimes we have the impression there is a huge disadvantage on the game of life and that it looks much easier for other people to play this game than for ourselves.

Moreover, it's more likely you are going to do well on long term in life than in gambling... So someone comparing both must be careful to not be naive about their gambling activity, which can bring very negative consequences if not practiced in a balanced way.

The answer should be obvious...Yes....even when there is no house edge you still need luck to beat statistical games, maybe there are small rooms for winning without much reliance on luck but that is naïve to assume as a common occurrence. Everything in this world is all about luck, and skills can only contribute a little. If we already have a main source of income, having gambling as an option to make money is not wrong because you still can earn on the other (consistently) if you fail to earn in gambling.
