Sometimes when making a bet we can win due to luck and sometimes emotuons play a role in the choice of a bet and i do not recomand placing bets out of emotions because i came across of some cases of people gambling on their favourite teams and that is sometimes tricky.
I have noticed that sometimes when I gamble, I used to win unexpectedly even when I never intended to bet. The most shocking thing is that I usually win when my mind is not that prepared to gamble probably jokingly. Anything I'm focused and well prepared I usually lose. I don't know if this is affiliated to luck or just emotions. Does this happens to others?

gambling is very danger , for this reason gamblers should gamble for fun only , no one know if the luck is the cause of profite or no , the risk of gambling is the addiction and the greed , i think the luck is like trap because if gamblors bet and win then they continue playing , the luck will become a trap , i think there is a strong relation between luck and greed , the solution is never trust the luck spicialy if you make a good profite
Gambling has a little bit of luck in it and in most cases, you win Unintentionally, but the fact of the matter is you still need skills to win a big amount at the end only luck can not win you all your bets.
If you say that, it will depend on the gambling game you played because if you played sports betting, you would need skills in analyzing the team or player who have a bigger chance to win.But if the game is dice, lottery, crash, that will need the luck to win and not many of us can win and make money.
The card game is also a gambling game that needed skills and luck to win because if you do not know how to play and how to manage the card, you will hard to win.
All in all, playing gambling can attract your emotion become high as no matter if you win or lose, your emotion will increase and if you do not have control, you will end up losing your money.

Luck is just a probability, so you can be lucky whatever state of mood you are, You are just noticing luck in chill mood because your brain is clear while you feel unlucky when depressed because you can't think clearly.
i believe that we clearly state our side and opinion just please try to dig deeper.
When playing gambling their emotions attached to it, before you make a bet on the game you already feel excited at this start you already gathering positive vibes because you want to win the game, when the game starts you are still hoping to win the game because you think it could be, this is the last emotions you will face with because could be win or lose the game if you win this emotion burst up more because of too much joy, but if you lose still becomes disappointment or just nothing because still, you become optimistic. Still depends on the mental stability of the gambler.

So in this case it's about how much money they bet, because when they bet that way or just bet carelessly because of a bad mood, then maybe they just spent a little money. In contrast to those who bet with bigger money, when they bet when they are depressed because of a bad mood, and plus large amounts of bets then of course this will be a different story which of course will be very regrettable.

Most often people think differently when they seem to hear stories and experiences from others, their attracted towards it. Basically emotions took place here, not just the luck that made them more eager to bet but also their desires to also acquire lucky winnings. Normally, this is what really going to happen for all of us who has no control in gambling.
Yeah, but they only hear one side of the stories, maybe they haven't heard from the same people horrendous stories of them losing big money as well.

Emotion has no connection at all and this is what the majority are saying and will say, even if you are at the best emotion, there's no guaranty that you are going to win and even if you are at your worse you can still win, all you have to do is pick a number or roll the dice and it's up to luck or house edge if you will win at that moment, just trust and hope that it's your lucky day.
If we are talking about a responsible choice, then I agree that you should not do it while drunk. However, the topic is about luck and emotions. For example, if we are talking about a purely random choice, then you can just flip a coin and strictly correspond to what happened. But, at some point, you will still turn on your brain and perhaps start correcting the random selection. In a state of intoxication, such activation is either impossible or will be later than when you are sober. And luck, after all, it does not depend at all on how you turned on your brain there and adjust the rates. So there is also some advantage in the "drunk" game. 
Then wouldn't the same be said in a sober situation? Like in any case, "luck" means to just go to hell with it and whatever, so really, closing your eyes and then pressing the button for rolling to get the result seems to be the same thing as the drunk game. There are also a lot of other ways you can get the same result without being drunk, it's not like alcohol gives you +LUK like in games lmao. Not that I'm denying how drunk games are fun, but it isn't really the best option considering the overall result of a betting session.
Emotion is heavily controlled by the gambler's apparent luck. It tells him to gamble more when he's winning, and also tells him to gamble more when he's losing until he recuperates his losses. At least that's how I saw it when I was still gambling with no control or action plan that will at least help me, and I also saw this behavior with some of my friends who are into gambling as well, so I think this scenario applies to a majority of gamblers who are or have been in the same position as mine in the past.
That's to put it to you that, there is no professionalism about gambling. Its more of a thing of luck than it can be of anything or at least, the way I see it. You put in much effort in trying to be on point with analysis, you end up making mistakes, mistakes that you could have avoided by just placing your bet based on how your emotion connects with the the game upon first sight.

There are games where with enough analysis and trickery, the gambler can pretty much crack the game and ensure that he wins all of the time regardless of luck. Thing is this only apply to a very small number of games. Professional gambling shouldn't be included here as well because they only represent the top 1% of players and thus wouldn't apply to most of the people who gamble. You are using the word sometimes, so it means it's not always all the time and we can consider this das luck and have nothing to do with your emotion, you can try it on a toss coin even when you are drunk, you will get your picked side if you are lucky to get in, same with gambling you will hit by luck whatever you are feeling and whatever you are thinking, and it's not you only I also experienced this and just ignore it.

Without focusing you depend on pure luck. This is doesn't matter that you more probably win, but for many people, when they concentrated they're playing much worse, because they doing additional mistakes. Especially if they're trying to use some "strategies" without good knowledge in math and game theory.
So yeah, sometimes it's better to depend on pure luck: at least you save your time and nerves
