I disagree. Parents should have the responsibility to know what their kids are doing. Although it's true that gambling is accessible now to most people even kids with online gambling, parents should be able to inform or educate their kids about how to handle gambling and it's effects.

Indeed, parents should monitor what their kids are doing online. Not only gambling is proliferating online but also pornography, violent games, videos etc. Its better to block these sites and have some firewall and check their browser history. Also,if they have a mobile phone, you can check that also, and it is a good policy to them that you must know their password.  Grin
But restricting them into such sites will make them wonder and have curiosity over the said sites, in which your kids will ask their fellow kids in which is worst then being explained by parents. A parents explanation over the thing can be more helpful for the youth as they always will listen to them. But it is also inevitable that only time will tell when they will visit or experience those sites.
How would they know if such site exist if you restrict the access of such site, unless you let them access it before them restrict later. The saying is always good, prevention is better than cure and that's what we should do since we are handling kids with delicate thinking.

I think it is possible to restrict kids in accessing sites especially gambling and pornography.  There are apps that can be installed and will block sites that have in connection in both gambling and porn sites. But if the kids started to browse in an internet cafe, there is a possibility that they might end up browsing the sites you are blocking at home.  Either from cookies or thru searches and ads that is shown in a social sites.
Of course it's possible, so we should not be lazy to do that as that is only for the benefit of our children. For me, porn is just fine but gambling is a serious matter because you will lose your money and they might end up stealing the money from their parents. Porn is just normal for children I think.

You can also divert their curiosity into something else which can bring them fun and forget about gambling. Let them mingle and play with other kids outside your neighbor this will also eliminate their interest in gambling.
It's good to let your kids play in physical games so they will exercise their body and that is good for the health. If they gamble, they will be staring the computer all day and that is not good for the health.

I am not sure if gambling is made for kids, but there are kids that are into gambling. In online world, everyone could try gambling, regardless of age. Actually, a lot of kids nowadays are exposed to gambling online and it is one of the games they play virtually. I am not sure gambling is made from, but let me say they can try as they are exposed to it, they see it all the time. For example, sports betting. I consider myself also a gambler when I was a kid playing with my friends, a poker game.
Why you dont sure that gambling is not made for kids.. kids should be study and their place should be in school..

Gambling is made only for adult that is why they are giving warning only 18+ can be gamble..

Cannot agree more, gambling is not made for kids at all because its something that should be done by adults and than its even still risky due to the fact its highly addicted.
Kids should play other games but they should stay away from gambling in all times and its not something that is cool if people are thinking this..
Its indeed not for nothing 18+.

Parents who are letting their kids gambling or teaching their kids to gamble are the most irresponsible parents in the whole world. Because kids doesn't must learn how to gamble and they must enjoy the essence of their youth and childhood. Only crazy people will say that gambling are made for kids or allow kids to gamble.

Online gambling is like dangerous disease than it is impossible to make stop under age kids doing gambling there, bitcoin made is very easy to play there without any age verification and take withdrawal instantly.

Parents have a very important role to prevent children from the bad influences caused by online gambling. For me, not allowed our children to access the internet without our supervision is the most efficacious to prevent kids to access gambling sites. I dont give my kids the freedom to access the internet without me beside them.
We don't want to let our children to be addicted at a very young age so we need monitor their actions especially in the internet where almost all of the information are there. It's good to let your kids knowledgeable but there are certain limits we should impose to them based on their level of comprehension and gambling is not yet good for them.

Normally gambling is only for adult but the problem of bitcoin is anonymous so they can't stop kids from gambling.
but i don't know why playing dice for example is like a kid game :p there is some games is not for kid like casino and others.
maybe it could damage the kids mind when he will interact with adult in gambling games.

Gambling is for everyone. No matter how old they are. Gambling can be done anywhere and not necessarily in a casino. Kids can gamble online too since it is very easy to gain access to online gambling sites nowadays.
While technically anyone can play in casino games there are reason to now allow minors to play, a kid or a young person has not developed enough in order to understand the understand the consequences of their actions, so kids must not gamble at all.

No gambling is not made for kids and kids should never gamble because it is not a good thing when they are that young and come in contact with it.
They need to learn how important money is these day and not to spend it random on gambling.

yup and it would be up to their parents to make them understand what monetary gambling is and why it won't be good for them to try at a young age. these kids should be taught how to be responsible with money  and what to avoid this early.
Rich people who have lots of money and don't even care for their children what they are doing and if they are indulged in wrong activities, apart from such parents there is another category who love their children a bit too much and hence they never stop them, in fact they fight with those who try to teach them.

yes that is really the duty of every good and responsible citizen, but i think gambling is now become a fashion and every one either kids or elder like to adopt that fashion, but i think we should at least keep our kids away from gambling.
Gambling has never become a fashion anywhere but yes being a bitcoiner I have seen almost everyone gambling who uses bitcoins. But I think there is nothing wrong even if kids are gambling, just the fact that they should gamble only with fun or play money and not with real money, since rel money will make them addicted.

yeah there should be no money involved we may consider that but isn't it unnatural for them to play that kind of game at the young age ? even if they play that game for fun at first there will be a chance that they will end up getting addicted to that game and realizes it's becoming boring and will think that playing with money involved would be more fun .

What is that question ? Of course it isn't since theorically you aren't allowed to do it until you're 18.
That is not the real reason I guess, because in the first place in the crypto world, we can gamble anonymously, so our age does not matter and even a 7 year old boy can gamble if he knows how to operate gambling.
i think the question saying that in your opinion, do you think gambling is also made for kids?
because for me gambling is really not for kids, so parents should be responsible enough to supervise their children.
