Holding more btc is much more a good idea than to hold 1btc only. If you have more btc, let's say 100-500 btc would be a good amount for long term investment it would even make you rich in future it depends on the price of bitcoin.
In this era I think 1 btc is too small amount too hold, if you want to earn good profits in future then I think you should hold more number of coins to gain more profits.
Lol I thought it was not looking at the era or year. we look at the price perhaps you could say buying 1 BTC its too little. when the price under $ 300 I might be able to buy 3 BTC or more. but now the price above $600 and it is quite large. if you want to buy more than 2 BTC you need money more than $2kEven 2 btc will not take care of you in long run as you also need to keep inflation rate in mind, so to live good and comfortable life I think you should hold more amount of coins.

I think it a sure thing that bitcoin will have a price hig in future but the problem is when users purchase bitcoin at a high price like this day. maybe the price will go down for a while I believe among their users there are impatient and maybe they could not wait until future ?
If you are planning to hold it at least for next 5 years then I think this is a good price to buy as price is not too high at moment and we will see much higher price in future.
