You can do that if you can earn better when only focus on earning Bitcoin. For me I'm keep doing both working for my job and earning Bitcoin at the same time cause I just need to spend about 2 or 3 hours a day to earn Bitcoin so I still have enough time to work for my job and every other thing in a day Smiley

If you have a good job and fix income, I would say no. No one can know what will be Bitcoin in the future. Will it be banned, will goverments do something against it, or how will the price be... and it is still something that can be done after work, or at your free time.

If you are good at this, only then i would suggest to quit the job. But I wouldn't recommend to quit. We still live in Fiat world. Let's say, the market crashed and doesn't recover for couple of months. And you don't have enough money to survive. Think about the worst could happen out of this. So The decision is yours.

It is very risky if you quit your current job.
bitcoin trading is very tempting, but you also have to remember the risks you will face.
my advice you stay in your work, at break time and get home from work I think enough to earn extra money for us but I also do not really forbid you to plunge in bitcoin because of all the decisions in your own hands because that will run you , I just give advice so you can think longer.

Bitcoin trading these days has become so rucreative that I am tempted to quit my present job which is not giving me enough time to explore more out of bitcoin world...

What's your take on this, should I go ahead and quit?

Thanks

Did you already made enough money to live the next 10 years?

Do you own your own house?

Do you have a comfortable portfolio?

If yes to all, quit your job, you're wasting your time there.

Quitting the job is not good idea if you are a newbie in crypto world. But if you already have some knowledge about bitcoin and you are earning some bitcoin or altcoin then i think you can quit the job because you can earn a lot more by working in crypto world.

You cannot expect fixed income from trading as every trade won't be in your favor and you will even make loss sometimes so in that case if your income is only from trading then you will have negative income and that will make things difficult for you to survive.

That depends on how much you are making in bitcoin. If you are earning more than what your employer pays you on your day job then it's safe for me to say that you can quit your job if that's what you really want. But then again, remember that this is cryptocurrency that you are planning to invest your full time and there are risks here. Let's say that you really are making decent profit in btc and/or alt coins, have you considered that there are chances that you might lose everything that you have in just a blink of an eye? You know, there are instances that we became too complacent and the next thing we know all those coins were hacked. If that happens, what will you do if you have no other source of income? Better to think things through before deciding on this matter because quitting your full time job isn't a joke.

Dont rush up because you might end up on regretting if you do lose your job. Its true that there are lots of things to be explored on bitcoin world and speaking of trading as you mentioned you cannot guarantee that you can make money anytime and if you do quit your day job you cant be sure that you can rely on your trading income since we do know its not constant profits.Just a proper time management and you would able to get the right allocation of your time on both things so that you wont able to experience hardship.
No. I totally disagree with that because you need to have that field job for you to have a consistent income for you to have source of money that you need in your daily life because we cant prefer bitcoin. We cant lredict will it would last for a long time.

bitcoin can be another source of your income.
but why will you quit your job for you to have more time in bitcoin, for me I don't see it as a good thing because the price of bitcoins is very unstable I mean what if bitcoin goes down what are you going to do now?. it's better to have a passive income which is bitcoin and the active income which is your job.

I will not advice to quit your job for bitcoin it will be a risky game fully involving only on bitcoin, even though now, the price may be increasing day -by- day. Having a job means we can be confident in getting a salary monthly without any risk.If in other circumstances any downfall happens to bitcoin we have to wait to get money and full of stress and pain if we have a job it will be a good thing and no headache will affect us.

for me it is not advisable to quit your current job for bitcoin, your current job provides security for your everyday needs. Like me I am doing bitcoin while I have my regular job. and my bitcoin serves as my savings for the future.

Better to have a permanent job while doing Bitcoin. Think first all the consequences if ever you quit.your job, you think you can survive just by doing Bitcoin? Think for a long term plan.

you'll still have to do some job to make money. so you are not really quitting job in general!
and depending on that job you do, you may earn a lot more or a lot less. for example trading that you have in mind can be a beast of a thing when you go all in and become more serious about it. you invest a larger amount and then the stress that you will experience every day when there is the smallest swings may make you make mistakes and mistakes on a large investment is costly.

It is not recommended. As of now, despite bitcoin's increasing popularity, bitcoin is still not yet legal in our country that's why it is not advisable to quit our present job. Besides, earning in bitcoin is seasonal. We need to be wise in dealing with investments.

For me it is not advisable, you can do bitcoin at the same time working means double income. Having your present job will improve your skills and you can use it to the future.

It is not advisable to quit your present job for bitcoin. It is too way to risky for you. It is a matter of 50-50 chance. My sister once quit her job just to continue and focus on her bitcoin. She is onto trading by the way. She quit her job yet after time about a month or two their trader manager was way too selfish wherein he/she didn't think twice on stealing and running away all the money of his traders. So, now she is trying to find another job.

If you have a good job you do not have to quit.
But if the activities here in forum you will know everything and even you can master trading , it's likely that your savings will be great. I think you can do that to quit your job.

I wonder how long do you work that you don't have enough time to explore btc. You can definitely learn a thing or two about btc by spending at least 2-3 hours per day and even half day during weekends if you have other plans. It actually depends on how serious you are in studying btc. Just like the saying goes, "if there's a will there's a way."

What's your take on this, should I go ahead and quit?

It's hard to find a job and I don't think it's smart to quit just because you lack the time to explore btc. I think your problem here is not your job but your lack of time management.

It is like selling your house for bitcoin. Dont exchange your needs for investments. Investments should be for excess money and not for your actual money.
