Do you tell others about your big winnings?
Or do you wait for the time to pass and then talk?
Are you bragging about the big winnings or do you want to make a point not to waste your time and money in the casino, but get it already?
Of course it is already known that people like to brag, but is it wise to talk?
In my opinion it is by no means a good idea to talk about big gains, because it can only cause bad things, here are some:
1.Of course, you can be the target of a robbery first.
2. As much as you spend your time and money in the casino, the environment will say that you are addicted and that the gain is nothing.
3. We bring the danger of ourselves and our loved ones, this is in the first place, but these come to the detriment of your safety.
4. It is not good if you plan to have a job and to thrive in it, and your subordinate knows what you are doing.

These are just some of the examples, to hear your opinions, supplement me if I am wrong.
I would love to brag to some people only, ones that won't create bad consequences for me. Bragging on an online forum or social media using a pseudo-anonymous account is fine IMO. I definitely won't brag in my personal social media account as gambling is prohibited in my country. I think that's the key point: brag anonymously. Just to feed your ego.

I am selective in telling about my wins to the others. I only tell to my near and dear ones about my win and avoid telling it to those whom I think can become jealous of me. Some people do not think gambling money as good, so I also do not tell those people who hate gambling. In most cases it is better to keep your winning news only to yourself.

Well, it's better not to tell our winners in Casino to others unless you fully trust me, I often win in casino gambling, but I don't tell many stories to others. I just keep quiet and continue to do what I often do. it is dangerous to other people and makes people will continue to discredit me because the money from gambling is not real money.
So it's better to be quiet and keep your mouth shut.

If you win big in a traditional casino then it is very likely that you will be the target of robbery among the crowd that is why you should be wise and smart in handling your winnings or else you bring home nothing. On the other hand, if you win in an online casino then you will still be a target of robbery by hackers once you brag about your winnings. For me, if I win big I would rather keep it as private as possible to safeguard it and also I think people will think i’m bragging that I won so it’s better to keep it to myself and act natural as possible.

Do you tell others about your big winnings?
Nope I don't because I'm not winning in gambling as always Cheesy

Or do you wait for the time to pass and then talk?
Still no. I don't see any reason why you tell your winnings to other people especially those who you don't trust.

Are you bragging about the big winnings or do you want to make a point not to waste your time and money in the casino, but get it already?
No reason to brag your winnings to other people because it can lead to more serious threats in the end. If somebody knows that you gained a big amount of money in gambling then there is possibility that they will rob you. It is always better to keep your winnings and even yourself private.

When I got my big gains in gambling, I just shut my mouth because people will think that I have a lot of money and that is not necessary. You should be humble and silent all the time and let them make talk about you.

Don't tell anyone about how much money you have, that's your privacy. If you tell anyone, your life can be in a sense of threat so be careful who you talk to when it comes to your money.

It depends on how much amount we're talking here. I won once in a lottery but its like a consolation prize since I didnt get all the winning numbers correctly.

Its not that huge just enough money for one person to make a travel abroad but I didnt brag my winnings publicly. I shared it with my family as they are the ones who should know about it but sharing it to others? No I prefer to keep it to myself. Whats the point of bragging your winnings if behind this are the losses you also had in gambling.

Telling others about our big wins is not something wrong IMO as long as we trust those people. But if you are referring to tell about it publicly in social media where you reveal who you are, then it is not good at all.
We may tell others when we are anonymous, where no one knows anything about us. If you feel that it is dangerous to tell others then just dont do it. Obviously it is our own right whether to tell about it or not and the effect that may come is obviously our own responsibility.

Normally I don't brag my winnings to anybody. Because they will end up asking for a treat. There are times I told them and share with them the winnings especially to my family and friends. Gambling is not a profitable activity so normally people should not brag about it because if they start counting the money they gambled over the years they are still in the losing end.
So funny but it's true, when you win decent amount from gambling you are not willing to talk about it right away you want to stay away from anyone as you know that they will going to ask for some threat or some portions of that money. But after sometime, you will do and talk about your great experienced and share how lucky you are winning the bets.

I think as long as your identity is hidden like in this forum you could pretty much share anything in the forum even big gains also it could help newbies in gambling.
Also, it is impossible to pin your identity with just a short post here or even in a gambling sites.

if on offline casinos yes that is risky and more likely people dont brag in the people that they dont know but they only brag on the people that they know like thier family and close friends  .

on online casino is okay to brag all day because no one can harm you because they dont know your real info but some feel that bragging is not right because this makes them think that they are boastful or thier  head is getting bigger  but some think bragging can give motivation to other gambler to play and win big also  .

know what?you have created too many threads in this section but always has contradicting explanation and questions.

how can i become a target of robbery if if i will only tell to my friends?as if i will broadcast to the whole community that i won big?and besides those people are trusted by me and will surely support me from my success, and also i will share them some amount as i am a generous person.

and another thing is who cares if we will stay longer in casino?why need to be bother of others might say when the truth is they don't give a damn in our life?common mate be truthful not unless you don't really know what gambling in real life is?
Good point, actually no one will broadcast their winning that includes a stranger. Gamblers are not attraction seeker, so this kind of information will only be shared to friends or someone dear to you. Being a victim of robbery will not gonna happen.
Yes, we should not think of what others will think about us. We should just focus on what we wanted to do and we don't ever need to give any attention to them.

I also agree with this actually, we don't have to let others that have small minds says that our dream is too big, I am not playing gambling but if you guys are making money in gambling, then be proud of it, as long as you are not doing anything bad to others, you're still a person, a good one. Playing gambling and winning is better than going to streets then wait for some people that will give you some of their change.

Always pursue your dreams no matter what happens in your way of achieving those dreams.

Hmm, all of 4 points you have said are correct. We would be in one or all of those points if we tell people about our big wins in gambling. Personally i also didn't like to expose my winning to all people, so to avoid those and might be there are other things, it's better to us to keep it for ourselves.

I think sharing experience is a good idea then if you incur losses people do share and the same way if you happen to win some decent amount from gambling then too sharing would help as people would know atleast some one could win and how much amount they get it.

i agree in the first reason because we don't know what will come to our friends mind if they learn about our big winnings specially if this came from a lottery jackpot that all know how huge and may end our life if we dont take it serious and careful.

so for me?i will just shut my mouth up for longer i can do,for my safeties and my family also, because more than anything they are the one i will protect for.

I think it is not really a good thing to do, but when I win in an online betting platform, I do really brag about it to my friends who are also playing the same game. Maybe, it is unethical but most of the times we could feel the eagerness and excitement to play further if there is some sort of celebration after you tell your colleagues of how much you just won compared to the bet you've placed.

Depends on who these others are. If they're online friends, which you never meet up with and don't know you irl, i think it'd be fine to tell them. As long as you don't leak much like an amount or figure, you'd be free to talk. Just tell them I won big the other day or something. As for family and friends (ones you truly believe are), feel free. If you get robbed, you know who to approach... Just kidding tho.

If it was a life changing win though, i'd rather develop myself first. Improving my qol, my security and such, before telling stories of what happened and how my life became as such.

How big is big winning?

If we are talking of lottery here, I mean the kind of lottery that makes you an instant millionaire, expect me to zip my mouth about it until forever. But if the big winning is that normal big winning that one can make out of a parlay in sports betting, or from a streak in slots, baccarat, and so forth, I don't think it needs to be kept as a big secret. It can be shared among family and close friends but not really brag publicly.
i wish we can zip our mouth forever if we win that big mate, though i think at first we need to shut our mouth first but when we have established our living already(like having new house in new areas)for sure we will share to the closest people to us about our winnings and may give them part as well since they deserve some tips .

- To avoid this, you should pick who you would share your winnings. It is a bad idea to share it to anyone even in someone you do not know. You will really end up being robbed.

- That would be fine, as long as you enjoy yourself and your winnings.

- It won't bring any danger if you only keep the information to your close friends and not to the big crowd

- Planning to have a job won't need to share this kind of confidential information.

and theres no point actually in sharing your winning experience to just any other stranger. youre just wasting your energy. what satisfaction would you get from that?
sharing big gains from gambling is only gratifying if you will share it with your close friends or family. but not to your work colleagues unless you have a very close one at your work who knows how to keep his mouth shut.
bottomline, sometimes it is better to keep your winnings within your immediate family so they know where you got the money and wont think where you stole it.lol  everyone else is just secondary and doesnt matter.
