Sorry for the very noob question, but I googled for it without finding a proper answer.

What I mean is not moving your wallet from a provider to another, but having multiple different wallets containing different amounts of bitcoins.

Use MultiBit and you can have a quick and easy way to make as many wallets as you want, each completely separate from all the others, and you can sync them all at once and see all their balances at any time, too. Coinbase is another system like this, and they even pay your fees when sending transactions.

Move On !!!!!!
It is not just possible but very easy. You can have different wallets at the same time. Online, hardware or regular computer wallets.

Here is a link on how to choose your wallet :

Ofcourse everyone can have multiple wallet and bank as long as he/she can handle with care.

But remember for holding bitcoin wallet especially online wallet, to keep your password in safe place because it will hard to recover your wallet

Of course it is, you can have as many bitcoin wallets as you can be bothered to create Grin
Personally I advise you to have -

1.) At least 1 fully synced bitcoin core wallet
2.) Multiple paper wallets for cold storage (safe offline storage)
3.) One online/mobile wallet for everyday spending of small/medium amounts

Spread your main bitcoin stash equally amongst 1.) & 2.)

I have all 3 of the above plus a trezor but I won't explain that yet as you're still a noob. Good luck bro.

Correct answer…  I prefer a hardware wallet for offline storage…But paper works too.

As far as i am on the forum, i see many people saying yes, so i am collecting money to buy a hero account, but seeems too far for me now.

Why this desire here? Then why to buy when you must create it yourself being active here in forum. If you want to use it for making money ok but is it worth? I haven't an idea how much can go to buy a hero member account but must go high if from it can be made money.

Yes, of course you can.  Just don't own two wallets with one service as 99 percent of the time that is a violation of the service's ToS.

im assuming you mean the online web wallet services such as xapo and blockchain, but im not even sure if its against their ToS to own two accounts with them, never heard of anything like that. as for HD wallets, there are no restrictions whatsoever. youre going to have to show me something that says its a violation of their ToS to hold multiple accounts with them.

I treat my wallets as I do bank accounts, normally 1 main one and then 1-2 child accounts for different/random matters.

wait is having different bitcoin addresses counts as having different wallets? if yes you can easily do it with blockchain.info wallet

I think no. Some wallets have an option of making multiple address with the same wallet. I will take the online wallet Coinbase as an example.

Yes OP it is possible. In my case I have multiple bitcoin wallet which each of them has a purpose.

-COINS.PH wallet - This is our country's no.1 online wallet provider. Many services offered here that we can use in our country for daily needs like instant cashout , bank transfer etc. That's why we need this most.

-XAPO - Some faucets I played use XAPO that's why I use it

-MYCELIUM - My main wallet .

-COINBASE - backup

i like to have at least two cold wallet and one hot wallet with minimum amount of coin, but yes the general idea is this, instead i dinf useless to have more than one address on cold storage, because then you need to back up each time you make a new one..

why 2 cold wallets?  im guessing one of them to transfer funds from and to your hot wallet and a second that would hold the majority of your funds for long term storage, am i right?

i was planning to do that also with two cold storage, but it was done especially because in the past i've experienced some corruption, i was nearly losing a big portion of my savind due to it...it was a nightmare especially because it happened two times

then after that case i decided to build another wallet to minimize the loss

if i were you i never go for hero member account because its so expensive and ROI is much difficult then Full member account currently if you talk about signature compaigns full members are converting best amoung all with full member you will get your ROI in just one week 1st week, So go for full member dont wait for the hero

A good move is to buy a full member or sr account with a lot of potential activity and then ranking it up yourself.  If you can find this type of account, you will save a deal of coin.

starting to get rather off topic

i myself have 3 wallets i use regularly, the only limit is how thin you want to spread your btc Cheesy
spreading your btc thin is a good thing imo (to a point of course, depending on how much total btc you hold.), it minimizes what you would lose in the case one of your wallets gets compromised somehow. always good to think ahead Smiley
