As many said in this post, you can easily buy crypto with your credit card on most exchanges. For example Coinbase and Binance (no identity verification for small amounts) offers such possibility. Nowadays crypto wallets like Atomic are offering such possibilities too. You can also check KyberSwap as they now allows easy purchase of Ether using credit cards (https://twitter.com/KyberSwap/status/1172447392685154305).

Of course you can buy bitcoins with your card but you have to be careful as some of these sites could steal your card details that's scamming you. So before using your card to buy bitcoins online, make extensive research before proceeding.

There is Monarch wallet monarchwallet.com and you can buy with credit card 7% fee
 or
Atomic wallet  atomicwallet.io that has built in BUY with Visa or Mastercard with 5% fee

With both wallets you hold your own private keys, and that is good.

Yes, it is possible. You can find dozens of legit websites where you can buy BTC by credit/debit card. You have two possibilities: 1. Find an exchange where you can also buy crypto via credit/debit card OR 2. Find a special platform which allows you to do that (some kind of cantor like buycoinnow)
To be honest, if you want to trade - I recommend you to choose a cryptocurrency exchange. If not - then the platforms like buycoinnow are pretty nice option because it is definitely the quickest way of buying bitcoin. Mostly, you don't even have to register or input your personal data there.

You can buy Bitcoin with your credit card and mostly the ones offering it will accept the payments right away. I think the problem you should focus on is the bank that is handling your credit card on. I have been seeing news and reports that some banks both in US and internationally declines the transaction if the credit purchase involves the buying of cryptocurrencies, they simply label it as risky to their businesses and won't allow such kind of investment purchase on their part. So I would do my research if my bank allows the buying of cryptocurrencies via credit.

I don’t see how you consider the project a fraud due to accepting credit cards for making purchases. There are a few exchanges that allow you to purchase crypto using a card in the event (and/or bank transfer), and those are normally the exchanges you will need to use to get your first fiat converted to crypto. From there on you can move on to crypto to crypto exchanges, giving you a broader choice of options.

Now what is true is that by purchasing crypto with a card (or bank transfer), you are going to be traceable to a certain degree, and both your bank and the exchange may be at some point required to pass information on to either the authorities or your countries tax agency (depending on multiple factors though related to jurisdiction).

By the way, as far as I know, CoinSwitch (referenced in the OP) is not really an exchange, but rather more an exchange aggregator that compares prices of 10+ (limited set of) exchanges and, theoretically, giving you the best price. I don’t know it performs, but accepting credit cards is not a sign to it being a fraud at all.

Bought my first cryptocurrency on coinbase with debit card in 2018. Sure you can also use it.
But pay attention to fee. At my time convertion cost 1 euro. So if you deposit a small amout, your total sum in crypto could be very low Smiley

Yes, You can Buy using credit card, Debit card, Visa and master card. I have barely remember me buying Coins from changelly(but have traded on that platform). There are many threads with same discussion please use the search option on bitcointalk instead of creating one more thread

*Suggestion: Before buying on any exchange, do some research and check the reviews about that exchange.

As few have already mentioned. I would also prefer saying that checking reviews before stepping in is very important.

Recently, I landed on this exchange Coinswitch.co, I couldn't believe that this exchange supports both credit card and debit card payments for buying Cryptos. Not only Bitcoin and Ethereum, they also support around 100 cryptocurrencies for buying. I purchased Bitcoin, BNB, XLM from this exchange only.

*Suggestion: Before buying on any exchange, do some research and check the reviews about that exchange.

Some cryptocurrency providers accept credit card from the buyers to buy their crypto coins.
I don't think it is scam, but you must be very careful when buying using your card.
I suggest to buying on good and well known cryptocurrency providers or exchanges.

Buying crypto through card payments isn't scam except you are using a scam site, I know about changelly but I haven't bought crypto with card there, I buy crypto with card from luno. And so far it has been good.

It is possible, but you have to find an intermediary like exchange. I know that Coinbase, Binance, CEX.io, Poloniex, Shapeshift and Changelly offers deposits via credit cards.

You can now buy crypto using some creditcards now. That is legit transactions. But before you give your card information make sure that you do some research about the selling site that you want to have an transactions to make it safe. As a newbie don't be afraid to ask other who already have enough experienced here in crypto world.

It might be possible, because many foreign countries have also bought it on crypto using a credit card, but the country I live in doesn't seem like it yet, and if the problem of trusting in a project depends on our personal analysis, because no one can make guarantee that the project will be really good and not deceptive, because fraud can also occur at any time.

There are definitely a couple of legitimate exchanges that allow you to buy crypto with CC.
Coinbase for example accepts credit cards and they're pretty trusted.

Crypto.com also has an option for CC purchases.

Or it's a fraud?

Many established exchanges offer buying crypto with card. Two examples I have at hand are binance and bitstamp. Some of them may ask for KYC documents, but if the amount is not too big, Binance should not ask for that.
I don't know about changelly if it's good or bad. I advise to go for the exchanges known to be OK.
