Can I send btc to get the secret, or have you now abandoned this idea?

Electrum uses brain wallets. They key phrases are 12 words long. I am assured that provides sufficient entropy to protect the passwords from brute force attack.

But in this case they could guess a part of it. Maybe if I used the values of 12 different timepoints it would be safe?

Yep, that would work.

Ok, but I would like to see the reasoning/math behind this. Also, that approach is suboptimal because

1) I know the answers
2) There is no control over decision based on how much money is at the address

I think it may be good enough for this situation, but I am also thinking that this could be a good use case for btc in general.

I created this thread awhile back and it has just recently generated some interest:
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/mystery-chart-says-to-buy-btc-now-and-sell-in-1152-days-279852

What I would like to do is have an address that people can send btc to if they want to know the secret of the chart. If a post in that thread includes an exact phrase like "The exact value at Timepoint 10 is 5.56457683625637365. My address is 1btcaddress", then up to .1 btc are transferred to that address.

edit:
One way to do it is just generate a brain wallet using that phrase. What criteria would need to be met to make that approach secure to brute force?
