Every coin, BTG being not an exception is being considered. We do not support BTG at the moment Smiley

Well, Spectrocoin is more like an exchange, not a wallet and you don't have control of private keys here. And you wont get your Bitcoin Gold. Spectrocoin didn't supported Bitcoin Cash fork, same situation with Bitcoin Gold, and probably, with all other forks. If you want to take forked coins, Spectrocoin isn't a right place to keep your Bitcoins.

Thank you so much!
I saw that inside this forum there is the official spectrocoin account active...how can i call them for answer to this question maybe clarifying their positions about btg..

About their stance on BTG, I assume they're still at "considering" stage since up until now, no announcement has been made about claiming of BTG

May I have a plastic card voucher, please?

Will we receive Bitcoin gold at our spectrocoin account after hard fork on 25th October? Or do we need to withdraw bitcoins to other wallets for it?

Voucher sent. We will support bitcoin gold in the future only if we determined each blockchain is secure and stable.

If you still want to contact them to confirm this. You can visit their ANN thread here: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/ann-spectrocoincom-cryptocurrency-exchange-blockchain-wallet-prepaid-card-577176. You will see their email and social media's where you can contact them under the "Contact Us" Sign at the bottom of OP.

They also have a support account here which you can directly PM: SpectroCoin_support

  • It appears to me that the spectrocoin wallet is not a "real" wallet (i.e. you don't hold the private keys, they do) and that it's impossible to get the private keys.
  • After a quick google I was unable to find any information about them providing BTG to users
  • However, what I did see was a lot of unhappy people and some scam accusations. I'd stay away from spectrocoin and use a real wallet, like Bitcoin Core or Electrum.
