I didn't mean your post is wrong, nor did I contradict myself. If Op was recently hacked or scammed, he can't get any useful information on the hackers address from an exchange, as his stolen funds is nothing near a high profile crime, see the example I gave initially. I used impossible, rather than improbable to dissuade OP and other newbies who think it's possible to recover their funds, but go on to fall for a second scam in the process of recovery, as we've seen on numerous occasions.

This is possible only if the user register their address to the ens. If not then it will still return the usual Ethereum address format.

Only merchant or those who need to publicly publish their address use this, but for privacy oriented individual or the average joe, most of them don't use it.

Name or identity of the person behind that ETH address? The answer is NO, we don't have a way to find out, unless that ETH address comes from an exchange and that exchange has a mandatory KYC. But as far as blockchain analysis, you won't identify them, not in Bitcoin and not in Ethereum.

I think, their is some mistake on your question.Because we can only get a Ethereum Address and not a wallet name. To get a Ethereum wallet, you should choose a good and trusted wallet which provide a full control of your wallet. Because you are going to hold your savings on it. If you choose a wrong one, you may lose your money. You can chose of Binance, Trust wallet for a safe side.

No, because wallets create their address on the blockchain itself so if you have the private key you can even switch to other wallets with the same address.But it i possible to find the exchange if it is from an exchange's address.

I think it's impossible to find out who owns the wallet from their public address unless the person themselves has declared it somewhere in the public domain. Also the type of wallet is also not recognisable I think.

Technically speaking, it's not possible because ETH was anonymous which didn't require any personal info in able to create a wallet address so you have zero chance to get the name of the Ethereum wallet user. Unless you can track the address transaction outside the blockchain like when send his fund to an exchange which you can ask help for exchange to track user identity.

I just want to elaborated your question, I think you want to know what wallet or platform wallet (like metamask or myetherwallet) user use seeing from the eth address, I don't think so, different when the user use exchange wallet when you use etherscan will be displayed the exchange name.

Your question is still not clear. No, you can't know the name of the person by seeing his/her address. But the addresses can be tagged on popular block explorer by you or the wallet owner so that you would easily recognize who the wallet belongs to. Popular wallet from exchanges are officially tagged by the exchange reaching out to the block explorer.
