There are lots of wallets for tokes, but it does not make much sense for you to torture that if ever there's a wallet for all the crypto coins it's likely that all the payers will register on the wallet to do just because they're all will make that wallet and forgot their wallets. So fuzzy that you are thinking of because it's a wallet that all crypto can put on.

Technically speaking, is it possible to have one wallet for all cryptocurrencies?
It is such a big pain that we have to use o many wallets if we want to trade many altcoins.
Do you mean having one address for all cryptocurrency? if yes, it is not possible because all cryptocurrencies have their own blockchain that stores all of its data. If you really mean wallet, there are multi asset wallets that allows you to store/hold different kinds of cryptocurrencies such as exodus, coinomi, jaxx or you can just buy a hardware wallet but only have limited supported cryptocurrency but much secured than those softwares. For trading there are exchanges that supports almost all cryptocurrency but of course it is not safe to store your funds there for a long period of time.

There is of course a possibility of this, but for security I would only stick to a dedicated wallet, we must not forget there are many Blockchains and sidetokens and of course differing algos for the coins and tokens, let's keep it simple eh.
I really support your argument. Its possible to use one wallet for all cryptos but for security and simplicity sake; let stick to a dedicated wallet

"STAY IN THE DARK"
It is not possible yet because there are lots of new crypto currencies are created per day so none of the wallets can't support all coins for now but in future where the useless coins were fade away and only the potential coin will stand at that time some will be created to hold all the cryptos.
Until that you can use hardware wallets to store crypto currencies and MEW to store the tokens.

Cryptocurrencies have many kind of wallet, its possible to store at one wallet if you have only erc20 token for altcoins like myetherwallet. But most of us has many kind of coins that supports different wallet, so its not possible mate that we can store them in one because its not compatible

No, as of now since every coin is following different network it is not possible to have a single wallet (with the same address) for multiple coins, but you can always go with the hardware wallet like Trezor where you will have a single dashboard to manage your multiple crypto coins, still there will be different section to deal with different kind of coins.

Large scale, green crypto mining ICO
The hardware wallets, they support a wide (but limited) number of coins. Some coins that are not supported directly, can be supported by using a hardware wallet paired with some other software wallet. This is the case of MEW (MyEtherWallet), which can store Ethereum and all ERC-20 tokens and it can be paired with a hardware wallet.

So even if you may need a few software wallets to hold your coins, the private keys may be stored on one device only.

For the list of supported coins please consult

I think no one will do that, because each coin have different values like bitcoin. They have their own address format and supported coins values.

It's not quite possible to have an all-in-one wallet yet. Remember that other coins have architectures that are either based on Eth or on BTC, and those two have separate wallets themselves, so it may happen, but not right now. One desktop wallet that I know is Exodus, which actually supports may cryptos in it, and act as a wallet to them too. But, it's limited to the famous coins, and some Eth assets, so it's not that flexible yet.

As of now there are some multi crypto supported wallets are available but there is no wallet which can support all the crypto currencies, but in future there maybe wallets will be created according to the needs but now the hardware wallets like Ledger Nano S supports most of the reputed cryptos and some ERC20 tokens so you can use it now,and Coinomi is also another best multi supported crypto wallet.

You cant have a single "wallet" because of the different technologies and blockchains involved.

There is a clear demand for some application that provides a unified interface to multiple wallets.  However since many coins dont even have decent native wallets, having developers build third party apps with such integration is a dream at the moment.

A possible solution will be a local client for a exchange, the exchange having a commercial incentive to put the devs to work, and you pay small fee when transferring, with keys stored locally.  I'd need to re-read some white papers, it may be on the road map for some existing projects, and if not remember who gave you the idea to create this  Wink

It is possible and you will find wallets that support multiple cryptocurrencies but none of them will ever support each one of them because there is a lack of interest. A wallet provider wouldn't waste resources to develop something that is not going to be used.

If this is possible so what wallet would you suggest to store many of altcoin in one web wallet?
As far as i know, i never find any wallet which can be used for storing many of altcoin.

I guess there is no wallet like that because if it exist then it should have trendy and almost used by many but none. I know a portfolio, there you can store all of your coins and let it go with the cryptomarket's demand for increase or decrease. But its not impossible to have that kind of wallet and it would be a better one, so we don't need so much app for computer or smartphones to have different currencies.

There are some virtual wallets that claim to hold alot of different holdings for a variety of cryptocurrencies.
The first that comes to mind is iconomi wallet.
The second one is exodus.

That's not possible, because each wallet has its own character, if it were in the world of cryptocurrency it might make it easier for us to find the cryptocurrency wallet.

Yes it is possible to havr one wallet with all the crypto. But even if it is only one, they will not support each other in one wallet.

I think the every crypto invested should have a wallet of its own, keeping all your crypto in one wallet is like putting all your eggs in one basket and is not too ideal.
