It is true indeed that bitcoin is a online currency but like other currency bitcoin can be used in offline transaction. However, it is rare to find a offline store that accept bitcoin as mode of payment because still bitcoin is not popular but as it get famous there will be a large adaption will occur.

Bitcoin is not possible to used like offline currencies, because bitcoin is decentralized and it was used only thru online. But it was possible to used in stores, online shop and services for now, moreover maybe bitcoin will become usable in the future if all stores and market have a device that accept bitcoin as payment.

I guess if that device improve possible that bitcoin were used as payment to other services like transportation, I'm looking forward that bitcoin are used as transportation payment for example in train or taxi's.

you can use bitcoin for offline payments, by searching for some websites that accept bitcoin payouts. maybe paying using bitcoin is not as usual. you can buy goods to people who know bitcoin. and try to make a payment with bitcoin. but bitcoin payments have a weakness that is the price that often change change. so the selling value also changes in a short time.

Yes I doubt that this thing can happen in the future, even for a P2P trade still that isn't enough. Transactions should be confirmed to the network with the help of miners and transactions can't be an instant like just sending it to someone without any confirmation. But if this is the case that many are looking for I doubt that this will be seen in the future, we can keep bitcoin offline but it's impossible to transact with it offline.

Bitcoin is an online currency which cant work without a network or the internet which was the best answer to tell your friend but AFAIK there bitcoin debit cards like wirex and uquid(if at all these guys are still in business) will allow you to buy fiat in real time for use on these cards and then you will be able to do as you please with your online or offline shopping .

There is no way that you can use any of the crypto currency may it be bitcoin or any other coin to treat it like offline currency. The most important thing you need is having the facility of internet. Once you’ll be using an internet facility, then it will no longer remain the offline currency and the actual concept behind all this was to regulate such kind of currency which you can use using an internet connection.

Well you can convert your bitcoin into fiat and use it buy offline, using bitcoin to buy directly offline is i think impossible bitcoin is a digital currency it is create as an online currency so why use it offline there are so many offline currency and i think that is one of the reason why they create bitcoin as an digital or online currency.

For now we still can't use Bitcoin like offline currency cause Bitcoin still not legalized worldwide so it's really hard to find out any offline store or shop that accept Bitcoin for payment. But with only market it's very easy to find out the place that you can use Bitcoin directly for payment

I think it's impossible at the moment cause Bitcoin is a digital currency so internet is needed when anyone want to use Bitcoin. Beside Bitcoin is not legalized in any country yet so we can't use Bitcoin for payment directly.

As far as I know one is able to create a transaction offline, but to get the transaction verified and on the blockchain you need miners that are connected to the internet. I think the whole idea of blockchain currencies is depending on the internet, otherwise there cant be a distributed ledger, if everyone has his own offline ledger, that would make no sense. Then we could also start writing transactions with pencil and paper, but noone would be able to verify if they are legit or not, because nobody is connected to each other.

no its impossible bitcoin is VIRTUALmoney so it means needed a power or internet
to be used.and offline money is like a physical money that can be use anytime so its a two
different thing thats the best answer you can tell your friend.

But you can use it market if you will convert it to fiat.thats the only way you can
use it to pay your marketing

I don’t think so that this will be possible ever bitcoin and all other cryptocurrencies do need an internet connection. Without having the facility of internet, we cannot do anything related to any sort of operation on any of the digital money. Internet connection is the must thing we need to have. Offline currencies and online currencies are entirely different things and there is no way we can treat both of them like the same way.

That is why Bitcoin is a cryprocurrency or a digital currency which means its transactions only use in online purchases and cannot be involve in offline transactions unless it is converted into fiat.

There is no possible way using which you can use any of crypto currency as offline currency. It is next to impossible sort of thing.

Please, Mr. It’s impossible, Bitcoin is only meant to be used online, it has no physical form which we can use to buy things offline. Currently it is really not possible as internet is necessary for bitcoin use, but in future we do not have any idea in advance that either it will become possible or not. My personal vies is that it may not be even possible then, because bitcoin is created as online currency and for using bitcoin online we must have an internet connection, although it will become possible to use bitcoin in local shops for shopping but still we will need bitcoin for using bitcoin even in local shops.

Bitcoins are digital currency leading to a better future. Bitcoins are not yet found in any hard copy or paper currency but just we have online access to our bitcoins so yes, currently it is not possible to use bitcoins in any offline business.

Also there is no need until now to use bitcoins in any offline business as a offline currency. According to the needs, bitcoins can be modified in future considering its demand and supply.
