Your Data Belongs To You
it is extremely risky.
most coins crash heavily and the often this is bounty fault.
I would suggest not to invest in new coins at all, but if you want to, research which coins do not have bounty.

I can say that their are pros and cons especially if you are investors and looking for a new coins to invest with but if you are a risk taker and would like to try something new. Newbie coins is really worth the risks.

There is always a risk involve whenever investing, thats why theres golden rule. Only Invest what you can afford to lose, but to take less risk, just stick to the top coins/tokens available in the market. New coins/tokens cant guarantee success even project that are backed by big names cant guarantee profit.

Actually it is really very risky, as what we have seen on the different news today crypto is now use on scamming, and so many ICO are really turning into scam, that is why i believe that it is more risky if we invest in new coin or token, i strongly suggest to invest on old coin or token like bitcoin or ethereum because we can trust this coin than the new coin.

dont be greedy
Very big risk. A coin that has been on the market for a long time is a risk to have, the greater the risk as the baby ages the coin or token. The chances of being able to survive defeating existing coins are very small, so if you have a coin that has just been released, please reduce your expectations of the future of the coin or token to reduce your excessive disappointment so that it doesn't stress you out.

The opportunity still exists, to become ash or become gold, which is certain that you will not go wrong if you just keep a few coins in your wallet

Yes, nowadays most of the new tokens don't worth anything and don't have anything good inside it, so it's really hard to find something new and good.

Yes, it will be very risky if you are a beginner in cryptocurrency, lots of scam coins / tokens are circulating and ready to suck up all your money easily. Keep playing it safe by studying a coin, such as the team behind it, what features the coin provides, and of course coins that have high credibility are important values.

On one hand, yes it very risky to invest in them because hardly will you know if the team will even continue developement after IEO, which is the main reason most investors only invest because of IEO and once trading starts they sell of, which is also another reason most coins dumps badly after IEO.
However, on the other hand, if you love taking risks, then you can invest and know when to exit. Also, DeFi projects are now around with their own hype, wherein there are legit projects, there will also be fake ones, so you can try them out after your due diligence.

as many people here say "yes" investing in new coins/tokens is very risky, if you choose the wrong project then you will lose all your money. because among 20 projects maybe only 1 can really give you an advantage

It is always risky to invest in the new crypto coin/token no matter how good if that project look or there was a good market time. They might only help to reduce the risk of the new crypto coin/token, not completely remove or make it 100% safe investment. I think these days are even riskier to invest in new crypto since there are lot of misinformation, too many things to check without any clear indication or red flag like you said. Definitely better to stay with the top altcoin or reduce the amount of new crypto you want to invest.

It depends on which coin you are investing in. If you invest in a new project which have some great investors or exchange link you don't have to worry. But if you are investing in a low cap new coin then you have to b careful. Not all the new projects are bad or scam. Maybe many of them are still in this market there are many good project available. But when normally a new project comes to market and that have some hype. Be careful cause many people start to buy that and for high demand the project price go high but when people realise that they don't have a good concept that started to go down. So whatever you do do some research on your own.

Almost all cryptocurrency projects are very risky for short and long term investments, new projects and old projects. Only a few projects can really be guaranteed such as bitcoin which when it is down there will definitely be an increase and also a stable altcoin.
But it depends on you choose the project you want to invest in, the new project will be cheaper in investment but has a great risk of loss, the old project is quite large in spending money but can guarantee if you look at their history in building the project the last few times good.

Of course it is risky to invest in new coins or tokens because we still know a little about the project behind it.
But when there is high risk, there is also high gain. I mean, when the coin is still new, the price is usually low and we can buy a good amount of it. Later when the coin already listed and the price high, we can sell it with high profit.

There are always risks when it comes to investing. Its really helpful if you make intensive research about the project you are planning to invest on. Just put extra money and don't put all your money.
He must always remember to put some amounts into the reserved funds. When someone able to manage their funds and he can do the best and decrease his potential to get a lost all of his money instantly caused by the volatility.
Everyone should never put all of his funds into the one place.

It's always be a risk in investment, doesn't matter it's crypto or fiat or other trades. If you are know about crypto industry for couple of years then you must be know that crypto currency is much volatility than other financial currency. That's why within an hour some people profit more that 150% and some people lost their asset 150% within an hour.

Investing on new crypto coin/tokens was always be risky. And now days it's much riskier than past time. Everywhere scammers are looking for scam people. And with opening a new project is the best way to scam. Thousands of people lost their money because of it. So it's a good idea to stay away from new crypto project if you are new in crypto space. Invest on top quality platform like bitcoin and learn about crypto properly day by day, then find other legit new crypto project to invest.

There is always a risk in an investment .But it is more risky when the project is new. Older projects have more reputation & been there for a long time. Best thing you can do is your own research about the new coin. Specially look at what they have achieved so far & the team.

There's always a risk when it comes in crypto new coin or old coin, so it is better to just invest what you can afford to loose, and do not put all you money and be more wise. For in the end you will not regret.

Depend on the quality of the coin. Also, some coins can be old, but not well know, so, for many persons it's new. The same situation happened with eurg

all investments carry risks not only for new tokens or coins but also for old coins. don't you remember the first bitcoin price of $ 19k but suddenly the price dropped to $ 3k. in crypto is very simple. if you are afraid of losing then don't invest

The simple answer to this is yes it is risky to invest in coins as is the case with every investment you make. That is why you hedge your investment by putting it into different baskets and putting some into less risky investments.
