It is risky. Bitcoins is still relatively new and its value/price can fluctuate a lots. It can appreciate a lots from here but can be worthless as well. Hope it will not become worthless. But the risk is there.

If it's just sitting on the bank (which is 3-5% per annum) then I strongly suggest that you convert it into bitcoin. Risk is a part of being a bitcoin trader. Go big or go home.

People deposit money in bank because they need liquid cash. If you face any emergency situation, then you can quickly withdraw them. But if you convert them to Bitcoin, and suddenly the prices fall by 30%, what you are going to do? I strongly advice everyone here not to invest more than 10% of your net wealth in to Bitcoin.

In my opinion, it is. Never put all your eggs in one basket. Wise investors don't do that no matter how alluring and profitable a venture may be.

Yes it is really risky to invest in bitcoin because it is volatile currency and in each second it’s value is changing rapidly....
It is alright if you are going to invest in bitcoin for long term and you will just buy and hold it for long term. If that is your plan in investing money in bitcoin then it is not risky to put some money in bitcoin but don't forget to only put the amount of money that you can afford to lose and not all your money.

This is an option not to think of turning all your money into bitcoin, you should do it instead of thinking ok or not.

is it risky to turn all my money to bitcoins? anyhow this money sits in the bank and do nothing for!

No risk at all. Absolutely safety. After all, you yourself are saying that your money is in bank with no profit. So come on!

P.S. Don't do it.

Yes. For me and based on my experience turning all your money into bitcoin isn't a good move and we all know that it is too risky because bitcoin isn't that stable and safe in terms of its value that sometimes rise and worst dump so in that case it has a possibility that your turned money into bitcoin will decrease or you will somehow be lose and can say that lose money.
for me it is much better to turn your money into a digital currency but not in bitcoin only it is good also if you have a lot of coin there like you have ethereum , litecoin, waves or any other coin that you think have a potential in the future.

NO It is not risky to turn all money to bitcoin. Because bitcoin is on kinds of money. It is digital currency. I think bitcoin is more safe than money. Every day bitcoin price is increasing but money price is not increasing. So I think you should convert your all money to bitcoin. If you convert your all money to bitcoin then you will receive a great profit in far future. And bitcoin is safe. There is no risk in bitcoin. So i highly recommend you to convert all money into bitcoin. Thank You.

it’s risky to put all your one in one place .

 bitcoin is safe Yes
There is no risk in bitcoin , no bitcoin is safe as payment not as investment (move all your money)

Not a wise decision to turn all your money to bitcoin there is no guarantee that the value of bitcoin will always increase, I suggest invest what can you afford to lose to lower the risk.

Yes! It is definitely super risky. Bitcoin is one of the most volatile assets as such. So, investing in it is a bit of a lottery. Personally, I wouldn`t invest more than 20% of my resources into it. But of course depends on the amount as well.

Yes, it's risky, just as the other investments. You should only invest your surplus. I am very enthusiastic about Bitcoins, but I would not turn all my money into Bitcoins. I always buy Bitcoin with the extra money I have and I can afford taking risk on that.

Yes it's all very risky. I advise you, better to allocate 50% of the money you have for btc and the rest for others coins.
