My question is if it's still worth buying Asic's and start mining BTC in 2018.

If not mine BTC what other coin is it worth to mine nowadays?
mining requires a lot of capital in its investment and at the moment the results do not promise profit and I think with the current conditions trading with patience and confidence will be more promising

mining does not always require a capital or huge capital before you get started because even if you do not have a cash in your pocket , you can still possibly mine a crypto due to the fact that there were now lots of mining sites that you can use nowadays and yes most of them are totally free and easy to use . however the profit that you might get is litteraly small if you are only using a third party service .

Re: Is it still worth mining bitcoin in 2018 ?

2018 is a more advance year when compared to the  past year and many people are now also doing mining , so there is a slight difficulty which can affect your gains . although the profit will still depend on the device that you are using .

I suggest you not to invest in mining now as the value of crypto is too low you cannot afford even the electricity bill. Yes this is true because I've gone through this from the past 8months and I have stopped now also you need to invest lot of money in mining think multiple times and plan accordingly.

It is still worth mining if you will have still profits after deducting all expenses like the bill of your electricity but if you have negative output then it is better to stop now and wait for the price to rise then start mining again. Your the only one who can check your earnings in your mining setup.

In my opinion, if you have not previously engaged in mining and you did not have powerful equipment, you should not climb there. But if you have extra money, then of course you can try

To my opinion mining is not profitable anymore, at least not for individuals. If you have a mining farm then it's a different story but otherwise not.
Costs of equipement and electricity are too high compared to profit you will get and cloudmining should be avoided because it's usualy connected to scams.
It's better to put your efforts to trading or some other way of earning Bitcoins but mining is a past tense now for majority of users.

I think it depends from the electricity cost. If you live in a electricity friendly country then its okay.

Now that there is only a few million remaining bitcoin supplies, I think it's too late to do mining for very good results, my advice is better to trade, because now trading is more profitable than mining.

in my opinion it is feasible to be feasible but not effective, the point is that you are free to mine what is not but for this year it is not effective because the average crypto price is low, it is better to wait for prices to rise again. It's better now to trade or buy coins if you still have USDT
Agree with this statement, we can farm or mine bitcoin but not profitable at the current situation at the market of crypto currency, for now much better to look for altcoin to mine which is you can able to earn money in only few days of mining. Lots of solo miner of bitcoin are now start to adopt other coin and hold for their future increase.

I think there are several important factors. 1. Bitcoins can still keep a high price in 2018. 2. You must have a low price for electricity.
To meet these two points, I think you can still dig in 2018.Roll Eyes
It is very much impossible to have low electricity bills after earning a good amount of bitcoin through mining. The expenditure is not acceptable that is why hackers are using other people’s resources to accomplish this job.

There is no doubt that bitcoin would be soaring up but other methods of earning this crypto currency are more suitable. Personally, I like day trading because it gives the most earning.

Mining bitcoins in 2018 is not possible if you have a single high speed computer with a lot of GPU power. These days bitcoin mining is very difficult and we have companies who have mining farms  and only those mining farms can mine Bitcoins profitably.
Mining is profitable sometimes and good to give shot for it. I am also get a mining site and I am surely get profit into it month and can get something when I am in need. Though price of bitcoin drops it is good to mine some of it for you to hold till the price goes up. We cannot contribute on the more fall but add some on the account which gonna worth a high price.

I think this is a difficult question. It is hard to say yes or no. My suggestion for you is considering carefully. If BTC price falls down too much, you could mine with 50% or 60% capacity

It's  a yes  for me   Wink  still  worth  it  Wink I'm not  into  mining    but  I suggest  check  Out  what  are  the   trend coins  to  be mine so that you'll be able to decide if it still worth it  Wink  but it is  always  depend  on your  analysis  Wink
by looking at market capitalization that is still large, i think bitkoin is still worthy of long-term investment, as we know that more and more countries are starting to accept it, even though it takes a long time, but i am sure it will bear fruit later

I believe that it will be worth mining bitcoin until the price doesn't go lower than the cost of mining bitcoin.

people still keep mining until now and I think bitcoin mining will not last long if the price of bitcoin keep going down  like this
it depends on you if you want to mine in 2018 if it's profitable, you have a fortune, if not, it's not your fortune

of course, with buy some VGA card you can start mining, many people said that its not give us profit anymore, but its all wrong, if we buy VGA cad and sell it in the 2nd condition i think we can get the money back from that selling price, so why not we mining and sell it after BEP

Yes, of course bitcoin is very valuable . I once opened a factory and used many computers to exploit it. But now it does not bring me good results because of the increasing difficulty. The amount of bitcoin I earn is very small. So, I went to exploit other virtual currencies, it's low value but easy to exploit and earn more stable profits. And the virtual currency that I choose to dig is Dogecoin

depending on each country determine the pay for electricity, because in a smooth mining activa that really must be considered is your electricity bill if you are mining and your mining income under your electricity bill means it is not worth it for you to do, if it's still far profitable means mining is still good to do this year
