I understand that blockchain and decentralization move together and for that matter, more forums for cryptocurrencies discussion should not be a big an issue but with the recent scam projects ongoing, my opinion is the leave everything in the hands of one forum to handle all ICOs discussion there.

More forums then more knowledge can we get. Not necessarily market participants, they ordinary people can learn about crypto coins.
Reading is a positive activity, and reading on forums like bitcointalk etc is an investment in the long run.

The bitcoin talk has known by so many people around the world and remember this forum has created by the creator of bitcoin satoshi nakamoto. I actually don't think there's much of a need for other crypto forums as of yet, the market isn't quite developed enough to be fragmented into smaller chunks. I do think that almost every major cryptocurrency does have its own forum, as do many popular sites that accept Bitcoins and cryptocurrencies. If you look around however, none of them come close to match the popularity of Bitcointalk, probably not even 1/10th the size, so unless something can do it better, I don't see a benefit.

I don't think we need more crypto forums, there are already enough crypto forums, what we need is more channels educating people about cryptocurrencies and how they function instead of all of the scam coins that are being pushed into the market. What is needed is more investors, more demand so that the prices of the coins can start recovering again.

Due to the dominance of this forum new coins needs to be here in order to be effectively reviewed by experienced investors. Asking the right questions and identifying scams will help the community as a whole. More forums can be created, but they need to be different and have a purpose

But I think for bitcoin is the basis of the crypto currency market. It is the most reliable market leader and coin. It also helps investors through the bitcoin talk forum. However I can not find out the others but the bitcoin forum is very helpful and it takes that kind of forums in the market.

Yes I agree with you that we dont need more crypto forums. As scamming is increasing day by day , I think it is one of the reason of it.So I think proper steps should be taken to stop it as soon as possible.

Bitcointalk is already enough and contains all the necessary information one need to arm himself with knowledge and updates about cryptocurrency. The rise of other coins does not guarantee more forums to be created.

Yes there's so much forum right now but in the other side forum is sometimes very helpful. In forum you discover a lot about crypto due to posting. The only thing is you have to choice wisely the forum that your joining with,make that its not scam or shitposting only.

More forums? Yesterday I saw Verge team has created their own forum. Do you think they did a wrong thing? NO, they are building their own community, there is nothing worse for anyone. But, no more forum can be like Bitcointalk.

That's because they created those forums in attempt to mimic bitcointalk and utterly failed in the process. So is there a need for other crypto forums? Probably no, given that everything you need to know at to talk about is here. The only reason people will leave is because shitposters/account farmers wouldn't prosper here, therefore making that other forum full of shit post.

Well, shitposters leaving bitcointalk would really mean a lot. If you want to leave, leave.
