There is no definite price that can considered as right time to sell.

The point here is to observe the market. If you make profit out of your buy then whatever the price you can execute your sell moves now. No regrets even the price went up much. It's just that you rushed but no worries you make profit (a little if its going up lol).

I've sold quite a lot of my stash when reaching 400. Now I am waiting for 480 to sell the rest.
Be it tomorrow or in january, eventually the price will go down again which gives me an oppertunity to buy back lower.

what if not? what if we shoot above 500, your plan would be to buy high and sell low at that point

i would have sold at 480 and not at 400 or even at 500 we reached it two time already, to buy back at 400 at least one of the two times

That's a nice idea. I think that as long as you're making profits when selling, it's all good. You're not losing anything so go for it.
I'm just holding for the time being and trying to stash up my wallets.

That is a really good plan. Well I hope for you will be lucky that bitcoin will go down so that you can dubble your bitcoins.
I wish I can get 1 bitcoin before 2016.

yeah i have sold at the price of $440 I was already making enough profit and I do not want to be late to sell if the bitcoin price fell below  back $400

That's very nice. I'm just holding for now. If it does goes back below $400 I might buy.
I would have to see if I can afford it.

Yes for some people is time to sell, for some people is time to buy some goodies.
For me I am going to hold and wait in 2016 I think the price will increase even higher.

Are you trying to svvay the market? If so, screw you! It's actually funny that you chose to sell. Bitcoin firstly won't drop so soon after a big crash. I think you made a bad mistake, bitcoin's starting to rise sharply.

What?
No don't sell!
I think we already see another slight heat up for the coming bull run!
Selling now is pure speculation and if you wanna do it to buy in at lower prices to get more coins you might get heavily burned!
I wouldn't do that!

Never sell until bitcoin goes mainstream. Its a currency, not necessarily an investment. Would you sell all your USD if it goes up 5%? No

Well this is bitcoin not a dollar. If dollars goes 5% up yeah I wouldn't sell but convert it too some asian money so that I can buy things in asia for really cheap.
For some people bitcoin is like an object exmaple like antiques that you sell for to get money. The problem is bitcoin goes up and down. But true that is why I am just holding to see bitcoin around 1000 dollars and sell it.

I've sold quite some coins at this moment. And I will sell more if we hit 470 again and also on 500.
Sell high and buy back lower (around 400 dollar), is how this game is played. Unless you make a bad decision and you have to take loss.

In the end I am mostly right, so for now i keep on selling.

When a asset, be it a stock or bitcoin climbs so much, the only thing that can happen is that is goes down again...

I'm on board with this sentiment. I think its china blowing up this bubble. They're gamblers and can't help themselves from panic buying.

It's an annoying spot for me. I'm holding some coins so want the price to go u but am also looking to buy so want the price to fall... im sure there's an inconsistency in my thinking but can't figure it out.

I did convert quite a lot of bitcoins to fiat.
The current climb is based.. on really nothing to be honest. It is just; whales buying, hyping and panic buying.

When a asset, be it a stock or bitcoin climbs so much, the only thing that can happen is that is goes down again...

I think this is not a time to sell our bitcoins because  there's a possible to increase or it will rise above $500
I hope it will happen...

so let us wait until the end of the year or when Christmas, whether the price will touch $500. if it happens time for me to sell bitcoin.

it might be it was a small rise in price and now it is pretty stable so most probably it will start falling as the previous raise what would mean that a lot of people would be afraid of loosing money and start selling even more

i dont think that it is time to sell the bitcoins you have i think there will never be the correct time as in my opinion the price will keep on rising even after small crashes though those are just my ideas
