I have a small amount of Bitcoin, and have always believed in bitcoin but it is going down daily and it might flip with BCH... no one knows

Would it be a good idea to buy some ETH until the storm clears with Bitcoin and then when we know who is the clear winner, BTC or BCH buy that one back ?

It looks like its poised for a run soon, but then again ETH might just end up staying at 300 forever lol

Both coins will definitely give you some gain and both possess the potential to grow. But as for me, i's rather hold on to those btc and wait for its value to increase because probably, bitcoin's value right now may have been the effect of the said upcoming fork in which, i believe, have been cancelled. So better wait for a few days until bitcoin can recover from it because you might regret selling it.

I am not sure about this particular moment, the ETH parity bug still hasn't been resolved yet. If it needs a hard fork to solve, this may cause a lot downward pressure on ETH price.

I don't suggest ethereum for bitcoin because i hope bitcoin have great potential in the future but ethereum also good coin to invest but you buy ETH with fiat not with the bitcoins. And i wanna tell you something if you want profit the investment should be in long term if you just convert often from one to another coin you will face only the loses.
If you can react quickly, you can buy anything you want. ETH could be a good idea, because a lot of people are trying to avoid the risk and want to buy something different from BTC and BCH. ETH is a well known alt, but as soon as the BTC vs. BCH battle finishes, alts will be down again, because people will sell their alts. So just react quickly

I think it would be better if you wait until the price back to normal, and guess what? Now BTC is back at $ 6200! If you are patient, this will be a good time to buy instead of selling.
BCH replace the BTC? That will not happen, just use simple logic then you will find that BTC is still Bitcoin and BCH will never be BTC.
For your information, now BCH is down as much as 45%.

I had a hunch BCH will have a bullish run back when it was 300-400, yesterday i sold half and bought eth for its relative stability.

The money being made on bch will come back to bitcoin, and we will see new highs again. And in turn a lower eth again.
100% agree on this - The cancellation of the fork saw money stream into BCH as the new alternative and away from Bitcoin.  Wasn't it also when BCC forked, volume flowed into BCC initially then trickled back into Bitcoin, the same as what were likely to see here again?

I really don't think that cancellation of the fork shifts the mindset of the people to go to BCH since first of all people are keeping an eye for this coin and BCH is been over hype last days that's why it caught the attention of the people who seeks some immediate profit, And look what happen now its experiencing the normal scenario of tradings and get dump on certain circumstances.

I have both bitcoin and ethereum, if that's my case, I don't need to sell my BTC for ETH, I just hold my balls until the price will come back. No one can predict that, but I sense it that bitcoin will pump on a month.

Very risky right now. Do it, it is too volatile an asset to be holding. Come back a bit while further once it has dropped some more than mass buy. But do it before the fork, because that's when the price will go up again.

Ether is not a store of value, Vitalik will tell you that and it's the most dangerous/bloated blockchain there is.

That's with you. If you want to earn more money bitcoins have not risen yet. But you do have a big risk because you do not really know whether your money will grow In altcoins you buy. we do not know it might suddenly fall and you get caught up. Just repeat that very first when that happens. So you should be alert.

It is good to have ETH as well as bitcoin because both are the currencies which will have a good future sometime if fall in the one currency can bring the rise in the other currency that’s why we should invest in these both good currencies both are very profitable and market oriented currencies.

The choose was your, but for me, i won't do that, if you compute your existing Bitcoin and converting it for ETH, i don't know if you still gain profit. just HODL my friend, and in no time you will see Bitcoin will rise.

All I can say is you can go sell it and regret it later, you know how bitcoin rolls, it goes deeper and goes back higher than everyone can predict.

The rulle is always regret in the back no one can deny it. But choice is choice, wisely to research before making decision will less the regret.

its a good idea if you want to invest your money to buy ethereum because i think ethereum is another good coins that will be increase higher in future. if you want to buy ethereum, i think this is the good time because the price is at lower price so you can buy some ethereum and then you can hold it while you can waiting for the next waves. but you don't have to buy ethereum with all of your bitcoin because you still need your bitcoin to do another thing like maybe you want to buy other coins beside ethereum.

If you have doubt with the bitcoin then go sell now your bitcoin and convert it to ethereum but dont regret if bitcoin will bounce back.  Your personality is not fit for bitcoin because if you know the history of bitcoin price its normal. In my opinion, if bitcoin is starting to dump it is time to buy some new bitcoin and HODL.

I mean, but bitcoin isnt the whole of the ecosystem. its healthy to diversify; im all for bitcoin but what if it does dip? being spread out would lessen the hurt (sometimes), and reduce the overall risk. anything you can do to reduce risk in this space, you do it. also, ETH isnt trash; there is ample opportunity for ETH to break out as well (it has a few times, minorly, during all this fork price correction nonsense).

and take advantage of the gifts you are given. the ride up was pretty nice on bch, if you transitioned at the right time you pretty much got the best of both worlds. additional, discounted btc.
