I never followed ALT coins' progress and I was wonderng if at this point, is it any good to start getting into ALTs now? Is it anything better or equal to BTC or greater? What you guys say?
Btc dominance has been on an increase daily, major alts I've been following have all kept a downward movement. Take sometime to track some alts of your interest and see their progress. May was a bad month for alts in Btc pair.

Not all altcoins are having a bigger rise this year.
Most of them are dropping down and some are actually losing their value. Only top coins are increasing and not every altcoin have the potential to rise better when the bull market runs.
It's still best to invest with Bitcoin because the changes are visible.

If you're talking about assurance, Bitcoin is still the best choice. It depends on what you believe is more profitable. There are also potential altcoins which are worth holding but if you will observe, Bitcoin is soaring high these days and it could go even higher so if you want a sure profit, you better invest with Bitcoin.

Even during the bear market, people can still take advantage of the altcoin's price behavior.

It's just that, what altcoins should be considered.

Honestly, that was a tough thing to know and you can't just follow other's recommendations because of an obvious reason that we all have a different approach. They might successful trading a certain coin but it doesn't mean we can have the same result.

Now to answer the question, there's no such thing as bad timing to get started on ALTS. It's on your own hands how to properly managed it along the way.

Well, it is very hard to monitor altcoins today especially when that altcoin is not popular or you haven't held any of it. If you are a hodler of altcoins for sure you will monitor it daily or weekly. Bitcoin has risen a large amount this month and of course, altcoins followed. But some of the altcoins right now increased by 200% to 300% after the rise of bitcoin so I believe alt coins had a bigger rise than BTC without checking the last year's chart.
Bitcoin is the mother coin of almost all of the token in the market that's why they are following what is the status of the btc and also depending on it.

I think not at all altcoin will be more than bitcoin in this month.
If you want to buy or invest for altcoin in this month, maybe you can track for deeper that XXX coin before you execute it.

And about altcoin price higher than bitcoin, You don't need to wait for the end of this month. Because in the last year, I see one of XXX coin more and more higher than bitcoin. You can check it in CMC or another site like that.

2019 is an interesting year for LTC, and considering the halving of it this year, it is worth to observe Litecoin anyway.

I used to watch this sort of information using Cointracking. You do not need to register to access the charts and stats, and there is one that I particularly like which is the view provided by this link: https://cointracking.info/coin_trends.php.

The page site provides a list that you may sort by price trend (increase/decrease) over a certain period of time (1h/24h/7d/30d). For example, you can sort by price increase over the last 30 days.
Unfortunately, you cannot apply filters such as a complementary marketcap minimum, which you will need to also take into consideration (the information is shown on the list though), alongside with abrupt up and down patterns due to pump and dumps. You can click on the chart hyperlink to get a more detailed version of any chart.

I suggest you to research a little
You can track the prices and charts on https://coinmarketcap.com

You can compare BTC and Alts

If you want to invest some money on alts, please, research and study first

Do not follow comments like: "it's time to invest on XXX coin", or "invest on YYY coin and be rich", a lot of people invest in coins and try to make another people buy the same coin to rise the price
Yes, thank you for the tip. I really intend to learn more about alts first. I've been hodling btc for a while now, And I'm not too eager to jump on the next hot coin. I just want to know more about it since I've been following some threads advising it has gone up in value.

Yes there are some altcoins which grow last month and you can check on cmc or another website who provide statistic, but to get a profit this month investing on altcoins can be hard because not all months are the same.

Tactically yes but not all altcoins where pumped in the month of May, 2019. The must pumped (Altcoin) shitcoin was that of the Bitcoin SV, which skyrocketed with almost 101% but look scamming. Altcoins aren't profitable in general, but do due diligence before acquiring them to avoid regret.

There are some altcoins the had risen up to more than  100% so it must be true. I'm not surprise those who sees the coin to have good potential will always buy back the coins that made them richer. Those coins also have a considerable usecase in the  future and supported by big companies and the community. I'd be excluding the BSV even when it had  gone up.
