I haven't tried it yet. But is the scalper business a good one? Can you make it your main job? I didn't ask her how much she earns because it might be rude, but from what she tells me, she started in less than a year. Sometimes she doesn't have many customers buying, which makes her have a more or less profitable week.
I don't know what other people think but personally for myself in a gamble I would prefer if it was just me.

Not to make others look bad especially for those brokers, but this is the principle that I use when gambling because the initial concept is that gambling that I do is to please myself so that whatever the result is I am in control not others.

So in this case I prefer if I do gambling without any interference from others including the sportsbook, even though the claims he gave in the end could be said to be extraordinary if the benchmark was profit but it could also turn out to be disappointed if what he did failed and we just had to accept without being able to comment anything because we already trusted other people in the bets they made.

It's been a while since I started a topic here.

I know a female friend who works from home selling betting tickets for a casino. She has a WhatsApp group where she posts the matches. From what i could see, she also posts the odds, ready-made tickets, and claims her predictions are over 85% accurate.

I haven't tried it yet. But is the scalper business a good one? Can you make it your main job? I didn't ask her how much she earns because it might be rude, but from what she tells me, she started in less than a year. She has to be on her cell phone 24hrs a day and barely sleeps for fear of missing the games to pass on her predictions.

The cool thing about this profession is that it can be done from home. Now, the question is whether it's worth it.

For some reason this post just reminded me of something genius I saw online. Someone who was a promoter for a club created tons of fake dating social profiles on some app and set dates with tons of people who all agreed to meet up at this club and pay an entrance fee. If someone could figure out how to make some strategy like this work but for betting matches on instead they would surely make a come up. As devilish as that strategy was you can’t ignore the brilliance of his plot, it worked.

That's a pretty heinous plan you've got there lol.  I'm not sure I fully understand what you mean by this.  I mean, won't they, the actual date who shows up for the event be expecting to meet someone and be the ones who have the tickets in hand?

Anyhow.  I remember getting a call for the Chicago Cubs season tickets back in like 2009 when they were horrible, if only I had the foresight to know they'd win it all in 2016, I coulda made a fortune scalping.  It's certainly not easy!

You already mention it before "She has to be on her cell phone 24hrs a day and barely sleeps for fear of missing the games to pass on her predictions."

I think betting until hit like this doesn't worth any more. I mean results could make you rich bit seriously tho it can make you sick haha.

So the best way is just do your job accordingly and not go beyond that imo
It's a job that, even though it may not seem like it, requires a lot of effort and online presence from the interested party. I called her on the forum again, she can learn and share her knowledge, there's no better person than her to comment.

I was picking interest in the business until you mentioned that she has to be on the phone almost 24/7 and that's a job I can't do. I would had suggested she set up a website but people mightn't believe we have many of things similar to that and not many people are making use of them because they believe them to be fake but as it's coming from her mouth, people that would had doubted, might believe and if it works out well for them, they're going to come back to patronized her and also bring their friends hence she will be getting business always. But what happens when she loses and cause people that play a big bet to lose money because there's no how she'll be getting all her prediction correctly. She did say that her prediction are 85% accurate but people don't listen and still will be betting with all assurance.

Well, I don't support such jobs because you won't have time to do other activities, but in a situation whereby there's no other job then you can do it, and if the pay is also considerable. The seller is just depending on the casino by selling predictions to gamblers that uses the casino, so if anything happens to the casino the woman will neither have much customers. Most casino encounters challenges and if the casino can't withstand the pressure of challenges and lose their reputations they will lose a lot of customers and the woman will also lose customers too.
However, there are more than thousand of jobs that anyone can work from home with their PC, computer, laptops or phones and still have enough time to do other businesses. The most important thing anyone should do is to find a job that provides time for them to do other businesses or jobs because one can not depend on only one job, mostly when the person have a responsibilities.
As long as it is profitable for the casino to make these predictions and there are interested leads, then the woman's pay is kind of guaranteed, although she told me that she has received very little in some slow weeks, but she must know for herself whether it is worth it in the end.

One week she told me that she only earned $20 in a week, thank goodness she has a husband to help her, while this job is only serving to supplement the family's income, while she still has chances to earn more in the future, it is the investment and a decision that is only up to her to make, accepting the risks.

Finding a job that can be done from your computer at home is really challenging here in the region, I don't know if it is because of the culture or the low number of qualified professionals, but what I see are employees in traditional forms of employment.

This is a typical info-business in which the most important thing is to spend money on attracting new clients, since the old ones sooner or later understand what is going on and leave.

Well as far as am concerned, I cannot buy betting tickets booked by another person,  no matter the percentage of accuracy  they say it is. The fact remains  that gambling is a game of luck, and if the person making the prediction is actually that accurate with their predictions, I don't think they'll be putting much effort to get someone to buy their tickets besides,  they should be making huge wins from their 85% accuracy tickets. There are several persons on telegram who also claims they give sure odds but at the end some of their  predictions goes  sideways. In as much as one can loss a bet due to a 1.01 odd, it shows  that nothing is certain when it comes to gambling.
You don't have to conclude that you can not buy a ticket that is booked by someone else because what if the ticket most time do come out with hood results. You don't just have to conclude without you understanding it and how it works. Gambling is quite different at different location. It might look absurd to you but others might find it very interesting and a good way to make money without making any prediction yourself. Once it is going to be positive, I would not waste time and try my luck on it. We all are interested in results and that is why many people would want to opt out if they have not seen any result so far.

If you do not want to follow the pattern offered by the woman in purchasing betting tickets for the casino, then someone can take their own bets using the available account so that everything will go according to the wishes of the person who wants to bet and it will be much simpler.

For clarity I would also want to know if there is any compensation or terms concerning sold bet tickets that didn't turn up the way it should because no one is perfect and game might change anytime favouring the opposite selected options. So in cases like this do they get refund or risk is at gamblers stake and they are responsible for for their actions as usual? The reason I'm curious to know is because, their are deliberate scam prediction platform all around who might not even give you any booked ticket after subscription. Though this might be genuine but let's be careful with the things we trust our money to

And that can be his observation whether the woman is telling the truth that she's got some good predictions.

With that prediction accuracy that she's mentioned, that's quite high if she's honest with what she's saying. From that observation from the others, OP can check it out whether it's worth betting for her tickets.

Maybe a couple of observation from the purchase of others and see if they're interesting or not. Otherwise, it's best to just ignore her.

Selling advice on better gambling from home can be quite an attractive business; it is flexible and maybe highly automated. It really does have its pros and cons. Luckily, working from home can provide great flexibility in the schedule, and with a certified business plan, there is a possibility to make realistic predictions of good earnings. This may lead to more customer loyalty-the more differentiated you are, the more money you make. Income would be erratic, besides the fact that the field is not only very competitive but highly unlikely. The work is constant, and very stressful and exhausting, like that of your friend's round-the-clock job. Besides ethical and legal considerations with regard to promotion of gambling, there's the issue of transparency and compliance concerning the concerned legislation. Ultimately, it comes down to how much you are willing to invest in terms of time and productivity, if indeed your pleasure in gambling can make the uncertainty and stress involved worth the job.
Indeed, although the announced 85% accuracy in betting odds may be a way to attract the attention of players who join the closed group, I'm one of those who believe what they see, that is, only with my own eyes, I've not yet had the opportunity to test the odds of this house promoted by my friend. But if I find out anything, I'll report it here.

It's nothing more than talking about business and maybe in this case we are not talking about the accuracy of predictions, everyone sees an opportunity to make money and maybe they have the ability so they decide to run. Almost everyone realizes that predictions do not always have a certain level of accuracy, especially in gambling, whatever we predict is not necessarily going to win.

If you do not want to follow the pattern offered by the woman in purchasing betting tickets for the casino, then someone can take their own bets using the available account so that everything will go according to the wishes of the person who wants to bet and it will be much simpler.

OK, now I am gonna be sincere and say that this is another dimension to or of betting scam I really never knew existed at all, I mean what the f**k 🤦, no wonder when I was still in some sports betting groups on telegram, many a times the admin will give out some free games predictions, most of us will bet on the game, and at the end of the day, some will win while others will lose.

It's one of the oldest tricks in the book about tipsters, they've copied this from early scams with stocks, back in the 20s and 30s when everyone was eager to invest. Now with the internet and anonymity behind a telegram account, you don't even need to run a single instance of this, you can have them ready one after the other so by the time you finally flop and nobody believes you anymore the other is in full swing.

What the admin used to do was tell us that there is a new game available, and that as many that are interested to bet on it, should indicate it and he will send the prediction as private message to the persons, majority of the time, the group is always locked possibly because he doesn't want who suspect his activities to come forward to complain about it and possibly warn other.

Which is a bit stupid, isn't it?
I mean who stops you when you find out the tip to spread it in a 200k + channel?  Grin

The only way to actually trust someone on tips is to follow them on a website that publishes their entire history, on professionally made ones you can see everything. Not that I recommend, just an example:
https://www.olbg.com/best-tipsters

Look at this guy's history, he's clearly in profit but you can see, everyone has bad moments, 4 months in green and then 10% loss in August.

I did make some $ following a guy here but he started pissing me off by betting only on 5 and 6 grade handicap races that I just hate.

Most predictions are usually not accurate as you may think and having 85% accuracy like she said I'm not sure about that but probably she's doing it cause she wants to sell the betting tickets easily and get paid as well  but if what she claims to be accurate is really true one have to give a try to see the outcome.

But if the odds and predictions don't turn out has she said it'll definitely be a huge loss to her customers that have has put so much faith in the predictions.for me I don't like involving myself in such situations so I don't end up in regrets and trying to make this scalper business as a main job it's a no for me,tho I know alot of people find themselves doing odd jobs that require them to earn money but not this seriously I don't think there's much to earn from it

How long you have been friends? If it was a long time already and she can also ask you sensitive questions sometimes then I think it's fine to also ask her if how much she earns. That should help you decide better if you will also go for it or not. You ask if you can make it as your main job?

I think it depends on the earnings. If it pays well then why not? Also it depends if how much time we can spend on it but you said your friend is on her phone 24 hours a day and barely sleeps. Well, I guess that obviously tells it.

A business is like that that not all times we can have a good number of customers but there are also times that the opposite thing can happen. If not then that must not be worth it. I want to ask a question. Does your friend bet on her own predictions?

Because his accuracy is I think great. If it was legit she can win at most times and that still can earn her a decent profit even if there are times that he can only get a few number of customers. If it's not legit then she won't be betting at it and it can be disappointing on those who will avail it, though I think it's also normal that a business can sometimes do such unethical acts only to attract a customer.

~~~and claims her predictions are over 85% accurate.
This is a lie, and if it did happen, it likely wouldn't last long. For someone to be profitable in sports betting, they only need a win rate of 52.5%. She claimed to have an 85% win rate, which I think is too good to be true, and we know what usually follows such claims. Also, if we analyze this, if she could really achieve such a high winning percentage, why wouldn't she bet on herself and make herself rich? That way, only a few people would know the secret, and bookies wouldn't be able to find out or limit her. I've read some articles about profitable professional sports bettors, but none of them have an average win rate of 85%, so I don't believe it.
Based on your definition of the job the betting scalper is more like prediction guru or she does also have to place the bets for their customers?
No. Only what the person will do is to predict some matches and give it to her customers but the customers will pay first before she will give any of them the predictions. This is not just highly risky but it is also just a scam. I do not know how some people will be very foolish to go for something like this.
If that's the case then legally it can't be considered a scam because they can hide them under analysts. Still, we all know it is impossible to predict the future so if she is saying this team is going to win and getting paid for that then its ethically wrong, she can present the stats and let them to choose based on what it is which more seems to be logical and ethical too instead of false promising such as win.
