I'd say no, it's not worth it for most traders, currently on free plan you can use up to 3 indicators which is more than enough and using more indicators just over complicate TA anyway, you would only need paid plan if you want to have access to volume profile indicators and custom time frames which could be somewhat useful to some traders at times.

It also a bit depends on whether you are trading full-time or not and how much are you invested in trading over all.

But one thing is for sure, if you are already seeing almost no improvement in your trading results using the free plan it's very possible buying the full version wouldn't change anything for you.

Its been said that if you are a professional trader, you should buy the paid version of trading view as free version have some limitation the major one being  you cannot more than three indicators at the same time.
How the question is that is it worth upgrading to the paid version or using free version is sufficient for majority of the traders ?
It is worth to upgrade your Trading view account. I am not mentioning about more than 3 indicators on chart. It is a mess up on your chart but with Pro trading view account, you can have access to some indicators that you can not have access with a Free account. It is important, the indicator you use, not how many indicators or lines you include, draw and mess them up on the chart.

With Pro account, another advantage is an allowance to download data of the chart. It can be very useful for coders who can build up their scripts to trade with bots.

Be simple and I think a Free account can still enough if people are not greed and gamble. For professional traders and investors, they need a Pro account. It is not expensive if you buy it in Black Friday event each year. Less than 2 dollars every day to have a Pro account for 13 months, it is not expensive.

To tell the truth if you have the opportunity to acquire it, do it, because they have tools such as the Volume Profile, which, it is essential to have it, gives you the best option in terms of the trading timeframes you have with the volume, for me the volume is one of the best indicators for trading analysis.

May we think about a certain limitation compared to have a trading view but I'd never think that it gives a huge advantage. Because trading is not all about having this thing but it is all about how you work on your trades, simple chart, and market analysis, it big enough to make a good decision. If the proven that acquiring this tool could uplift our trading profit to 100%, that will something brought trader's attention and buy this but somehow it's not and I think this is not necessary especially when you are just a casual trader.

I do not agree that buying trading view is a good option, why ? Because it does not offer you a long term solution; have you considered how long you want to be buying trading views ? Also, what happens if you cannot interpret the trading view you have paid for ? In my own opinion it is not worth it; i will advice you find an experienced trader to teach you how to also draw out concluding part form a trade chart; as well as an interpretation. do the right thing and learn for yourself.

If 3 indicators are just not enough I guess you can take out one and replace it with another to read the charts. 3 Indicators are enough actually to analyse where could the trend go.

There are actually just 3 indicators I use, RSI, fibo and MA nothing more but I'm not publishing anything there. What are the advantages of having a paid subscription on tradingview if anyone here had bought?

Everything depends on the needs in my opinion, because the upgraded version in Tradingview also has many facilities that can be used. When we want popularity, of course, upgrading is important, but if you just want analysis, I think free is enough.

The vast majority of indicators are based on price and volume inputs, so if you increase the number of indicators, you inevitably run into the risk of "confirmation bias", where multiple indicators using the same data will give you a false sense of security by confirming each other.

Unless you have a trading system that incorporates uncorrelated variables (like even temperature of the day, rainfall, orange harvest, etc. all of which have been used before for devising trading strategies), 2-3 indicators should be sufficient, which is available in the free version.

if indeed this thing is intended for professional traders I think it is quite balanced with what it gets. but I have not clearly understood what a professional trader says to be labeled a pro in trading.
Personally, I am still lacking in that professional understanding.
is there some kind of limiting characteristic that determines a person to be a professional trader?

please give me input Smiley

If you can use it for day trading and those unlocked features would be useful to you, that's worth it. But if you can see yourself not enjoying the perks of the paid version, should you stay to the free version.
Before purchasing, think of it if it's a worth it investment for you and would certainly give you more chance to be profitable through what you can think of using it.

Unless you create a lot of charts, draw a lot of lines and use a wide variety of features and different assets, it is not worth.

If you just make regular trades once or twice a week there is no need to buy that.
People who are professional traders need tools like that.

i have only used trading view for very basic stuff but i have to say that if you have to ask this question then the answer is no it is not worth it to buy the premium version of it.
in my opinion you'll have to first have quite a lot of experience with the platform and feel the need for the additional options the paid version offers before wanting to spend more money to get those.

I think that these instruments are very useful only for professional trader and not the vast majority of users. Interpretation isn't easy at all and can mislead a good decision.
There is also an expense (subscription) that could erase any small profit collected.
